A Tig party is the most awesome way of staying in contact with virtual friends who knew each other for about 8 to 9 years. It's probably nothing big for someone who just joined, but it's always been there for some of us. For years. That's a Tig Party.
(actually, it started off with a little game.)

Since you are both so advanced in English, can you tell me an AFFECTIONATE German term for "nerdy." Obviously the English word can be used either affectionately or as a jibe, depending on the context.
Uh, actually, I think people would use the word "nerdy" since there's not much of a German replacement for it. Computer geeks are known as "nerds" (also in the affectionate way), nerds in school are sometimes called "Streber" (jibe).

"Streber" is rarely used in an affectionate way, but I think "Nerd" is a much more positive word in German than it is in English.
