OKay What the Hell is This Illuminati Business?
seriously reading the GDF threads this is the first time ive heard of Illuminati. I think i might have read something about it in the Da Vinci Code, i dont remember. But from what I've read so far on the boards, I've come to the conclusion that maybe this whole conspiracy is a bit farfetched...
My reasonning behind it is, WOW, its dated back to generations. My experience is, people are impatient. We have trouble waiting for our food in the microwave let alone waiting generations for a eutopian new world order to come around. And dont you think someone would have said something about this secret society after a while. Someone who didnt agree with their philosophies. A leak!?
And this Secret Society sounds pretty elaborate, spanning countries and world leaders. Theres gotta be some good in anyone of these people to speak up. They cant be that powerful.
okay my two cents on this. I'm just curious dont bash me. I'm just a So. Cal. guy. I read the paper maybe every other day. So maybe I'm not up to speed on some of these Conspiracy Theories 😬
The Illuminati were also mentioned in the PC game Deus Ex Machina and in the same light, as a star chamber style organization that tried to impose world peace and order on the masses from behind closed doors and thru secret actions based on anceint religious codes. Some say they are the remnants of the Knights Templar, or some other shadowy organization. Regardless of who they are they certainly have a place in the annals of mysterious organizations.
