The comic was written by Erik Larson. If you don't consider that "crap" writing or PIS, then that is pretty damn impressive.

If someone else has the comic, then they should definitely show scans.

Well, it is like I said, it's up to you whether or not you consider it "crap" writing." I didn't say whether I did or I did not consider it that.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but that wasn't shown to say he could defeat ALL of them if they were all going all out. More or less to show how much punishment he can take.

Personally, I say it is more PIS than "crap writing," but it did happen in continuity, so it is here for the Wolverine fans. 😉

Oh yeah, I'm not saying that it is not crap writing, just that it is more PIS than crap writing.

Does that make sense?

Plot Induced Stupidity, or PIS, is when characters don't use their abilities or skills to the fullest extent as shown before, even within their personality ranges, for the sake of the story plotline. It makes lesser powered characters an actual challenge against higher powered characters in the comics. Examples of PIS include Flash stories lasting longer than three panels, or Toy Man as a threat to Superman.

Character Induced Stupidity, or CIS, on the other hand, refers to any natural mental limitations that characters impose upon themselves and reduce their ability to use their own skills and powers effectively. Unlike PIS, CIS does not occur because the plot requires it, but because the character is genuinely that dumb. Examples of the CIS-afflicted include characters such as Rhino or Jar Jar Binks. Events of CIS are not exempt from debates.

Only one of those is from an actual fight, and that sadly had a whole lot of PIS involved in order for the story to progress. Why didn't Xavier stop him right off the bat? Why did storm only shoot one little hand lightning bolt and then give up? Why didn't rogue break free? Why didn't nightcrawler teleport out of the webbing?

All of these are answered with "because the story needed to progress". and any of the characters doing what I mentioned might have sorely hamperned that.

Anyway, why is this even being posted in this thread? 🙄

That dodging bullets one seems kind of irrelivent since he says himself that the guy couldnt hit water from a boat. The guys bad aim not Wolverine's agility and speed created those misses.

There is the non-fight Where Wolverine was trying to talk to spiderman. . . and then got webbed up, and then got out of it.

And the infamous Secret wars "Smacking wolverine away is a win!" BS.

Why don't they include the link under my signature? "Spiderman is beating the shit out of wolverine!"

Oh yeah, the captions paint a pretty poor picture of spiderman in that, what with him hitting wolverine with everything he's got and still not knocking wolverine out.

in marvel knights 13/14 peter was a little *****. over a scratch!!!

The responses above was the exact reasons why I posted that. 🙂 I Think wolverines cool, I personally prefer spider-man and think he would win in a fight, but I posted that to get those reactions 🙂

whats your favourite wolverine storyline? I liked the art in Bloodsport and I thought the arena matches were good. Enemy of the state was good as well IMO.........

I like to call it the Wolverine8888 syndrome. Don't get me wrong wolverine is ok but I dislike the fact writers P.I.S or C.I.S over some issues which wolverine8888 regards as a good example of Logans abilities.........
