I am scared of dying

If you do think that there is life after death, then being afraid of it is already assuming that it is going to be bad, quite a negative way of looking at a situation if you ask me.

But i guess that is human nature, we fear what we don't understand.

That renders your life meaningless. You're gonna die no matter what you do....don't bother wasting time trying to prolong it.

Just be careful, have fun, and live your life....don't waste it wondoring about something that's gonna happen at random.

It's the unknown of it...........at the end..it's just like sleep........slowly falling asleep..........unless it's unusual.

Its got to be a certain type of clown for me. The classical, more French type, the white one piece suit, the tall pointy hat, the white face with painted on expression... shudder. They were the best clowns, if only because they were slightly disturbing. Bah to modern clowns that are nothing but ill matching clothes and some cheap face paint. There is no art in them.

For me to die is not scary, but to those left behind it would devastate............that is what would hurt me the most...........

Which is why we should all try and amass a fortune to leave them in our wills. To ease the pain, as it were.

But still, I am reasonably the same. I accept death as a fact of life. I'm not scared of it. I don't wish to die yet, but when it eventually comes I'll be ready (or unaware.) Best to come to terms with it - nothing worse then living life in fear of something unavoidable. Like being scared of oxygen really.

Bleeding will only make you sleepy.........so pray you die of a wound......

On the plus side there is a good chance you'll be unaware of all your missing out on. Kind of an ignorance is bliss situation. Cynical I know, but eh.

We just have to admit that we have no power over death.

the thought of dying makes my stomach tighten, i am very afraid of death. people i tell this to say i am too young to be worrying about it, but it does genuinely scare me.

Worrying won´t change anything, your going to die one day and thats it, unless armageddon comes first and your one of the survivors who will live forever, if you believe in all that that is.

Im not at all scared of dieing, in fact im looking forward to it. Ive had a lot of spiritual experinces in my life, and one in particular changed my life. Your just in a car taking a ride, one day you´ll get out and see and be in real reality.

You have to look to find your own path, non action produces nothing, before you go to sleep ask for help, then when you wake up write down what you dreamt, may sound daft but just try it what have you got to loose🙂

Its natural to fear death, though personally I dont think it is so terrible. It is unknown what happens after death, think of it as a great mystery. If it just so happens that you cease to exist after death, then atleast you will finnaly be at peace.'
