Matthew 19 :25-25
"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God!"

You do know that this "eye" is not actually a needle but the entrance to a place of worship that was to small for a camel but to smal for men and women...........(i got schooled on that one by a fairly religious girl out where I live talk about humble pie)

Anyway I am more of a Tao kinda guy and I was raised Catholic however I see far to many pieces fall apart in the large organised religions........and far to much hate🙂

Well never heard that one, but many things in scripture are more metaphorical, or historical information of that time period...

Aren't you assuming a little too much about a stranger?

I was raised as a catholic, but my opinions on religion changed because I realised people will still kill others even if their religion tells them not too, so really, what is the point of it if people are going to change the rules for themselves...

No! We are all part of the same entity. There are differences between people but in general we are all the same. I am not trying to put you down, all I am saying is; I remember thinking the same thing when I was much younger. I went though 20 years of having no spirituality just to realize that I was missing out on a very important part of life. I am not talking about religion I am talking about spirituality. You may decide that the path you have chosen is the correct one for you, but open you mind to other possibilities as they come into your life. 😄

True, I was not telling the person how they should be, just that they are still too young to know how they will end up. I was hoping that they could keep an open mind to possibilities, by giving then an example from my own experience. When you were 14, did you know how your life would change?

when I was 14 I had started to get fed up with christianity and I expected that life would be pretty different than it was at that time, then all we did was go to school , chase girls , play football and get drunk in the weekends

When I was 14...I was said to be possessed by a demon...

sadangel Demons were running ramped in our church.......blink:...They were everywhere...man oh man, just jumpin into everyone.....Even into vehicles...
