Originally posted by Darkstorm ZeroIt's because they add all these new zoids that ruin the story for me personally. I mean, after a while it's like "How many of these things are there?" Why do they need a new version of the same damn thing is beyond me. And, plus, the animation in Fuzors and Genesis is so different; that, and the animation sucks in general for Fuzors and Genesis.
Yeah....It is disheartening though, one would think that they would do it BETTER the further they get... but in Zoids, they did it WORSE the further they got... it is a good way to prove why they shouldn't smoke crack...
I like keeping things simple and easy: have a set number of zoids, and that's it. I understand having them evolve is necessary, but it just grinds my gears.
I don't mind having new Zoids as the seasons progress further into the future....
But the story sucks, the effort put into the development of the stories is pathetically piss poor, there seems to be nothing being discussed, and even the animation effort is now sorely lacking... Sure it looks faster, but it's also incredibly choppy, drawn poorly and looks like shit.
For me, being a huge Transformers fan, I don't mind the number of Zoids continuously growing or shrinking... but it burns my eyes every time they try and introduce something new, and it falls apart horribly due to lack of thought. And your right, having too many SIMILAR Zoids without a reason is shitty logic.
What killed them for me is that instead of drawing them out like in CC/GF and NC0,they're made from an animation program.
Plus,in NC0 they kept the story from GF. They kept the Ultrasaurus in the place it was during it's last fight. They said thye found the Fury surrounded by 3 genosaurers, they even kept the organoids.
But from there out,EVERYTHING was lost.
Yes..... I think they should have stuck to the original story, at least then some stuff would have made sense. AND they could have had half the background work done from there on.
I also hated the little mistakes, like mispronounciations of the Zoids names... Gustav was sounding like "Goostave" in Fuzors... and Genosaurer sounded gay too... Sounds like whoever produced Fuzors didn't do their homework... even the cover descriptions are riddled with bloody spelling mistakes and poor grammar. I can understand theodd typo, but these things where riddled with mistakes.

Heh.... that was strange, I left a Typo next to the word Typo..... Thats Irony biting mein the @$$ again 😆
Saix is too unpredictable to control, you'd ned reflexes like a god to control it properly (Along with some very quick gunning skills)
Liger Zero Schneider had very little in the way of weaponry, the only thing really going for it was that it was a big machine that could go very quickly due to booster power. the little machineguns and the Strike Laser Claws where... IMO underequipped.

By little machine guns, do you mean the underbelly bi-cannon?

Already a thread for it..that hasn't been posted in forever a year.
Bleh.Anyway, Raven was awesome in Chaotic Century. him and Irvine were the best characters followed by Rudolph and Hiltz.
And as for Raven, meh, he was okay. The Guardian Force season of Chaotic Century ruined him for me.
murasame liger was pretty strong too
