A dream I had.... The best I could make of it...

I want to drive away
Into the California sunset
No worries
No fears
Just me and the open road
Brown aviator glasses on the crown of my nose
In every direction my long black hair flows
The sky is a multitude of colors
Blue
Pink
Purple
Orange
Into the welcoming sunset
Is where one day I'll drive away.

I used to believe in fairy tales
I used to believe that every girl had a night in shining armour
I used to believe that every family could live peacefyllu in harmony
I used to believe that everyone lived happily ever after

I've grown up

I now know there is no such thing as a real life fairy tale
There is no knight in shining armour
There are no happy families
There is no such thing as happily ever after...

So she draws and writes good poems...I tip my hat to you mam.
