I don't think it has to be a medical condition to sleep with 5 yr. olds...now if one was only attracted to 5 yr olds (or mostly) that would be paedophilia........but if someone is usually attracted to women or men their age but raped a kid for sick pleasure reasons I don't know if he would be considered a paedophile by psychologists.

I think we all agree Paedophilia is evil, however, I think for someone to lose there job over a comment they made is ridiculous and in the UK it would need peculiar context and or previous behaviour for this to happen.

I read in the news a few weeks ago that a male teacher had confessed to having pedophillic fantasies. But the school refused to fire him, as he hadnt committed a crime, and they didnt want to be thought of as being the 'thought police'.
Has anybody come across a newspaper article or something regarding this case?
