Well obviously.. America does have certain obligations... they are rich... all rich countries have to "babysit" countries that are not.

Incidentally. Just for the record... I dislike Bush. I dislike his administration. I dislike a lot of the foreign policy.

But I (And I feel I speak here for a lot of us brits) do have a lot of love for the people of America.

It is important to distinguish that the amount of resentment toward Bush doesn't translate to you guys automatically... Besides he screws you guys over too.... It would be ignorant to give you the double whammy of hating you for your leader and the institutions he has inflicted on you that screw you over daily....

So again. Its your government's foreign policy that has been angering people.... Not you guys... 🙂

Very true, I'd like to see how they'd react to someone like me running this country. I run my own country on an online game. People are free to come and go as they please, it's a very peaceful, serene socialist country. But it's a PURE socialism. 100% tax rates, people are drafted and might I add not trained to save money, infact people bassicaly either work for the military or are farmers and ranchers as I would've wanted. Money go's primarily to healthcare, social security, and other matinance to help MY country. I develop weapons, I do everything as my own little world. Most people even in my region aren't fully aware of what i'm doing, just have a breif idea. Even my close friend Pete who's my most trusted ally and we're both in the United Nations has to ask me every now and again if I'm going to betray them and I assure them no. We're waiting for beta version so we can start world war 666 lol. I don't build nor condone nuclear weapons, that destroys the enviorment far too much and I pride myself in nature.. They however do. (Most of them are capitalist countries..) I DO however build biological weapons though the United Nations passed a treaty to ban them. And they also passed a treat to donate money to less fortunate countries. Peaceful little countries like mine are considerd less fortunate, so I get more money. And I'm still pissed off about them banning me from the forum part so after beta comes out I've gotten friends from the net, real life, everything to support my international terrorist group and we're going to rip them a new one. Omega version lol! I even put up my flag as North Koreia and the quote "the new world is inevitable".

See what you all get for donating to foreighn countries. Let that be a lesson to you. Vote xenophobic Republican.. 😛

You were just complaining about how no countries are offering you aid - even though I'm quite certain it has been offered.
Now you're saying that the U.S. doesn't want aid and that's your point? 🤨

Well...I just hate how many people are always bashing us in one lump group....I'm a niceeeeeeeee...I'm American...and much of the money that goes to relief comes from the peoples giving...out of their own pockets..

You have alot to learn about the real world missy. The world doesn't revolve around you.. I swear, it's like they think you "owe" them something.. For what? Who are you? Atleast I disrespect you for something you DID rather then something you ARE. Learn some morality before you expect gratitude and other things an adult obtains without having to ask..

To xmarks.... I NEVER said the USA doesnt want aid.... I am saying we are smart enough to know NOT to expect it!! Bush is just trying to be "STRONG" and show his pride in Americans helping Americans because the rest of the world doesnt give to us like we give to them! Thats a fact! Dont try and use the "they dont want our help" thats just BULL! Few people that are poor/in need will actually ASK you for help! In the act of "giving" you just DO IT , you dont ask if they want it, sometimes pride will stand in the way!

All I am asking is for one person to show me that some other country is giving some form of help/aid to the USA and dont say we dont need it! Have you seen the pictures of the destruction and death in New Orleans alone???
