Damn. You need to do so, and fast. Resident Evil is one of the coolest and scariest sagas of all time. If you dig zombies, guns, chaos, death, destruction, things that pwn, and chicks using said guns, RE is the series for you.

Some parents are strict like that, but I'll never understand why. If your parents are afraid of you being 'corrupted' by a game, they should have a sit down and talk to you about every game you buy to make sure you are morally clear on "shooting is bad" and the like. Games don't make bad kids; lazy parents do.

Not saying your parents are lazy, they're probably just overprotective, but either way... you gotta learn somehow. Better you can deal with it now then learn about it when you're twenty.
