Ragnos temple purge

They aren't going to stay in there though. They will be massing in larger area's so they can use the force in a way to overpower Ragnos. Even if they start in there, there is no way they are going to stay in there.

If Ragnos approached a larger area and see's a thousand Jedi in there in the lines you imagined, which I doubt the Jedi can organise, what do you think he's going to do?

Walk in and fight or tear down the ceiling and watch them die by the things that crash on their heads. Probably the last.

It's not like those 10000 Jedi have to use their swords to cutdown Ragnos. They don't all have to be within even a hundred feet of him. Five hundred Jedi working together could rip him in half.

See, now you're going to a range of utterly ridiculous assumptions. Half of the Jedi are going to be wetting themselves upon sight of their greatest leaders being torn to shreds. And if the Jedi worked so well together, why didn't they just collapse the entrances and exits of the Geonosis Arena onto the droids, and then capture Count Dooku? Or why didn't they simply use a giant Force attack to clear out the stadium? Because they bloody well can't.

And, oh. If the Jedi can leave the Temple, I'll say Ragnos can. And then, he can simply collapse the entire damn thing on everyone inside, and use a giant Force attack to wipe out the survivors.

no one leaves

So, can Jedi no longer use the force to stop falling rocks or something?

Not while being fired upon by a bunch of HK droids...

It's just seventy droids. The Jedi haven't forgotten how to block blaster bolts. They have, on more than one occastion protected themselves and people around them against fire from mutiple guns.

they will fall like flies

they are tying to lift 1000 pounds of rock that a force god is pushing down

While using the force to stop countless of rocks from falling???

Even if, the droids aren't using normal weapons so its going to be harder to block if not impossible. A flamethrowre isn't going to be blocked easily... Throw a few grenades in there, and then have Ragnos push a few of the Jedi away with the force. its going to be very easy to kill a room filled with people.

This is just stupid. Really is.

Glentract, for your sake, let's say that those thousand Jedi are the best in the Order, having among them Yoda, Mace, Anakin, Obi-Wan, etc., etc. The best. And surprisingly enough, they are all waiting in a giant hall while their brethren die around them. Suddenly, Ragnos walks in, alone. As the Jedi call their weapons to them and begin a charge, he flings out his hand, and calls the entire ceiling to the ground. Many Jedi will be crushed like ants right here, for these rocks and debris pieces aren't just being dropped. They're being propelled by his power. Even those who stop to catch the falling debris will be squashed. Now, I'd assume that the remaining hundred or so are the better ones. Now, Ragnos has to fight the hundred best Jedi of the Order simultaneously. A couple of quick Force attacks rids him of nearly a dozen. As the first wave reaches him, he swings his sword, quickly, killing a couple more, then begins back-pedaling. A few Jedi leap out at him; needless to say, they are cloven in two by a number of swift strikes. However, as the last Jedi falls, the next round leaps, catching him off guard. He takes a small singe, most of the blow taken by the armor, and leaps backwards. Having a second, he again begins throwing items around. One is a mammoth statue, which, upon descending, kills or wounds several Knights. Etc., etc.

In this specific type of environment, I'd give the win to Ragnos and his droid possy. But in almost any other field, I'd give it to the Jedi; sheer numbers would likely take him.

The Jedi have force speed. You have to be pretty close to kill someone with a flamethrower, no more than twenty or thirty feet. I'm not even fast, but I can run a forty in 5.5 seconds. Jedi with great physical conditioning and force enhanced speed are going to speed right up to the droid and slice it's head off.

Look at it this way.

I can run 120 feet(40 meter dash) in 5.5 seconds. That is something like 20 feet per second. Jedi can use the force to roughly double their speed. That's 40 feet per second. Add that to their improved conditioning, and they are going to close the distance between them and a HK droid in less than lalf a second.

Plus, as a side-note, flame throwers won't work very well against the Jedi beside the facts stated above. Corran Horn, after about a onth of training was able to redirect the fire from a huge explosion into the sky. Not looking to good for the droids if a padawan can stop their flame throwers for at least the second required to cut the droid in half.

Are you making a debate or writing a story? To say that Yoda or Mace won't be able to stop a swing from Ragnos' blade is close to that book where 3PO found a Kaiburr crystal and became a Jedi Master and then led the droids to freedom and made them equal citizens across the galaxy in gayness factor.

Again, assumptions. That's simply assuming that the droids are going to be right smack in front of the Jedi, waiting to be struck down, instead of leaping around like a good machine-gun wielding guerilla would.

So what if bloody Corran Horn could take an explosion? If you're saying that any Padawan, Knight, or even Master in the Order can take an explosion, it's just sad.

what book?

Even a Youngling who is five years old has over ten times as much training as Corran. To say none of them can do it is retarded.

If they survive the tons of debris falling on their head. And how do you know that either Mace or Yoda can stop a swing from a several dozen pound sword with a lightsaber?

You have no clue how heavy his sword is.

No. It actually makes some goddamn sense. If you want to go by this idiotic assumption, then Plo Koon could have absorbed the blast from his Jedi Starfighter exploding and sent it right back at the clones. It's not a matter of training so much as ability and power. Yoda had, oh, 19x the experience that Luke had. Are you now going to argue that he can shoot green lightning, manipulate black holes, and make planets invisible?

And it's called putting things into perspective, the story thing. Something you should try, at the least.
