Street Tourney: General Discussion Thread

On the strength thing...

Is Spider-Man screwed against Rogue? No. He might lose, but it would be a decent fight. Is Cap screwed against Spidey? Maybe. But give him an arsenal of various grenades, a protective suit of armor, and maybe a lightsaber...and he's doing just fine.

No one's going to romp through the tourney because of their strength. Khell and myself (unfortunately) demonstrated that in the herald tourney. It got us some wins, then we lost to the speedsters and magic users. Now, there's no magic in this tourney, but there's plenty of unique powers that can act as equalizers (like magic was).

If it becomes an issue, we'll deal with it accordingly (by considering transferring strength from other characters besides your "body"...since we can't allow pick switches at this point, nor can we invent strength that isn't there). But I honestly don't think it will become one.

also had a flick through as i was having difficulty working out who Khell had chosen with the red eyes.... i'm pretty sure i know who it is now (and it would explain the skin colour as well)

Well, there was only 4 (maybe 5) girls picked, so if you remember who's been picked, figuring out SF's amaglam should be easy.

I don't feel like posting the "picked" list though (hehe) to make it tougher on all of you.

why? i don't really care if they think I'm a woman, I just correct them. no one else has all women in their pick, and mine does so it gives me a unique amalgam. also, I like the woman more because they do tend to catch my eye more than the men in comics
