I feel like I won the tournament for Stormfront. I'm better at talking up Skriek than he is.

Go big and push it as much as possible isn't that how it works. Not really Deathstroke 3-5 ton lifter. Scorpion basically enhanced a weakling like Gargan to Spiderman levels class 15 strength. It is very reasonable that his strength would be at the 100 ton mark. I orginally thought somewhere that Digi said the upper limit was 30 tons so I never bothered with it because I knew I would be there but since Khell has 65 ton strength then I can take my guy to his upper limit.

So much for street level.

I should have chose Bruce Banner.

Well I just picked people that if I was right and we could go higher than the limit of our picks then I wanted people that could push everything. So did alot of othere people though as well.

I should have chose Bruce Banner. Or Thor's human alias.

It's not as much that I think highly of myself then it is that I think lowly of others.

that's the same thingh basically

Comments like that reinforce my stance. To get my respect you have to earn it.

A good way to start is by learning to use the shift key. I give credit where credit is due and by no means insinuate that I am some heavenly or godly creation. I know my limits and I can read other people's limits. I'll admit that i'm not even top 10 when it comes to debating on this forum. I'm top 20 if i'm lucky.

Deathstroke isn't 3-5 ton bro. Azrael is stronger and Azrael is roughly 1-2 tons.

well quite frankly i don't really care if i have your respect or not. and you don't give credit to who it deserves. your giving yourself credit for my amalgam.

I never set an upper limit for amalgams, only individuals. Discuss amongst yourselves exactly where your amalgams will fall on the strength scale, but there's technically no limit.

Keep in mind that while something like a symbiote can enhance someone to class 5, 10, 15, etc. or a suit like Scorpion's...that doesn't mean the exact ratio will hold true for everyone. Put Scorpion's suit on, say, Thor, and it won't do anything. Thor's already beyond what the suit can handle. So yeah, Grail's suit will enhance MN'er and Scorpion's suit will enhance DS but the ratio's might not stay the same as if it was on a normal human being. I won't be defining where everyone is at, but suffice it to say that if I was voting I wouldn't think Khell's guy is anywhere near Class 60 or Newjak's guy anywhere near Class 100. I'd probably consider them both around class 20-30, but you can think whatever you like.

I never credited myself with your amalgam. You have a very potent one in the right hands; which is what I was trying to convey.

Good Amalgam. Questionably legal.

It's good that you don't care about having my respect, because you don't have any of it.

you just said that you won the tournament for me? fine, i won't lose sleep over not having your respect

Well, in my case I can back it up because everyone in Grail's group got a proportionate strength upgrade with their symbiote.

This is true, but it's also true that when Carnage took over Silver Surfer he gained no power increases. Thus Digimark's point stands true. Also, look at what the symbiote did for Spider-man compared to Eddie. Spider-man was fractionally stronger, while Eddie was massively stronger. The only sure thing about the strength increases with symbiotes are that they make a basic human MUCH stronger, as well as becoming more stronger as they go along, whereas clones (Such as venom's clones) were remotely in the same power range.

By the by, how did people pick their characters? Was it the best combination? The character's you knew best? For offense/defense capabilities? The strongest? To make the most powerful? The characters with the best track record?

Yes, but jumping from Cletus to Norrin isn't nearly as much of a jump as going from Grail to Midnighter. And, again, there was one huge guy on Grail's team who was carrying around big ass weapons systems before he'd even bonded to a symbiote, and afterwards he was easily tearing apart droids with his bare hands that were giving Grail trouble.

But also look at the symbiote comparison with spider-man himself.

But Grail's symbiote isn't at all like Carnage or Venom, its partially mechanical and partially biological.
