Well, there is another thread I started about the racial makeup of a mixed child, and how this may depend on what a mother is thinking while pregnant, unfortunately, no one wanted to touch it.
So, I'll add what I think here.
If the mind is like the universe, let's say the mind is a network of web-links, stringed together through ether and connects to the other node (or human), then, together, we are the universe. but, not ONE person, but the collective mind, I think Neils Bohr (the one who came up with the model of the atom(which you have to relearn later in physics), he had a concept called the "bohrian mind", similar idea of the mind being an inter-link of webs woven between people.
Every soul has a star, and every star in the universe has a place to reveal the darkness that is surrounding it. I think the mind is a star, and the star has a particular place in space and in time, and where ever that star shines in darkness, it has the ability to "see" hidden knowledge that is kept in the darkness of space or ether. Because people are in the flesh, we get jealous, hateful, and oppressive; so every star that shines doesn't get to reveal the knowledge it has gained from being in that place in time.
So, I think a person's will is in the mind, and I think their purpose is to find the hidden knowledge within their space, not the entire space of the universe, as this is more of a power game and has a lot to do with wanting control over others, not really having a giving spirit when gaining hidden secrets within their "star" space.
I believe we are to "give" our hidden knowledge, not hide it. Hiding it was for the universe, but once we are a "being", we can access the dark spots around our minds and offer mankind something it never knew. Unfortunately people either are too busy oppressing each other, dominating each other, or hurting one another, or using the hidden knowledge to hurt others, instead of using it as a gift for mankind. Some knowledge that is gained is used to take mankind a step behind.
If you believe in the occult, falling stars or falling angles are demons, and they have "hidden" knowledge, that's why people worship them, to gain an "edge" and power over others. The hidden knowledge can manifest itself in new disease (viruses, fungus, etc), and these are passed on from one hateful person to another. That's why cultures who worship these falling stars are the ones who have the weirdest viruses unknown to science, they just "pop" up, the weirdest fungus, etc.
What I'm getting at is this, not everyone who obtains hidden knowledge uses it for good, and some take more knowledge then what is needed on their path on earth, using "other" hidden knowledge but not really focusing on lighting up the dark areas around their mind. I hope I make sense. If you see a star, think of the dark areas around the star as hidden knowledge for that star to reveal, and it reveals itself in that person's mind. Of course the universe doesn't care what we are or what we think. It's just a bunch of hydrogen and nitrogen and all that stuff combine. Whereas our minds have the following features:Intellect
Consciousness
Thought
Perception
Emotion
Will and of course ImaginationI think Mind gets a better deal. At least for us humans.

It depends on how long I am in the sun, racially, people unfortunately classify me as "black" (some may say I am black AND ???...), but color wise, it changes from light yellow/olive to dark brown (hint of red), depending on if I am in NY or FL (some people "tan" and some don't, you can tell when they wear shorts, if they are brown all over, then that's their real color, if they wear shorts and their legs are yellow but their face or arms are brown, you know it's a dark tan).
I say "unfortunately" because some folks can easily treat me badly before I start talking (let's say if I'm around Asians who hates blacks or whatever), it's not until after I start to talk that they change their behavior with me, before then, I am treated like a ghetto person or whatever (it just happened today at the store). If you are aware of black occult, soul-switching or soul-transference (you may have heard about it in a comedy called Freaky Friday, or horror called "Skeleton Key"😉, then you can imagine that the name "oncewhite" alludes to it. If you don't believe energy in the soul (the soul is the energy -matrix) can be switched (it's not a quick deal, and in my case, it wasn't a complete switch, I actually came from heaven (and this was in my dream at age 6-7 and later on in life, I had the dream about the actually switch and saw the entire ceremony, saw the girl who was supose to be swtiched into the body I am in now, felt her pain and worry and fear and her asking of "why"😉...The theory goes like this, if you research the "third eye"...every person who has a soul, has a "silver cord" to tie their soul to their body, and once that is broken, the person dies..so going back to the soul-transferrence black occult or voodoo practice...one person get's their soul removed, and the shell of the other person is filled from a spirit from either heaven or hell, from what I know in my experience, it's not a complete switch. After the dream, I did research on voodoo and black occult, and found that some are into this soul-switching or soul-transference)....(the soul is like the matrix-energy)...Now, I know that plenty of folks don't believe in God, or a soul, or a spirit, or any voodoo or hoodoo, or black occult, so this would sound very childish or very creative at best...or would imagine this to be false dreams or memories. If that's the case, then, my user name means nothing... the same as if I was alluding to a spirit or soul, if you don't believe those entities exist, the word spirit or soul means nothing to that person. (i tried to edit the other post, but I ran out of time, so I am double posting, but not on purpose).

Indeed. "Bigger" implies a physical characteristic, which the universe certainly has. Mind, however, doesn't have a physical size, not if viewed as an information processing system (and btw, I do not see "mind", "soul/spirit", "will" nor "brain" as synonomous).
The Physical Universe may well be infinite in ways both imaginable and unimaginable. Our minds evolved to deal with only a infinitesimal part of it (heck, look at the trouble we have grasping quantum mechanics: we understand How it works but not Why). Yes, we do have "boundless imagination" (which Einstein felt was more important than intellect), but I believe Hamlet put it nicely:
"There are more things in heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
Universe ftw.
Now, if you wanna talk Consciousness vs the physical universe, I am inclined to go the other way.

I say the universe, because quantamn physics suggests the universe is infinite. Constantly expanding. Where as our minds only have "on and slow" mode. We have bouts of expanded immagination, but there is deffinitely a limit. And when we die, our minds leave us. Where as the universe renewals itself by expanded further and further.
Unless ofcourse you believe in a soul or reincarnation or whatever. But i'm just looking at this from a human perspective.
The univese is bigger in size yet the mind can hold much more, the universe has a limated about of objects , cells etc But the mind can imagine things don't exist and never will in huge numbers. And still can learn some of the concent of the universe.
Think of all the things you've made up in your life.
The universe expands until... It can no longer then comes a crunch.

Thanks for the complement, but smart is just like anything else, it needs to be in constant supply, it never stays in steady-state too long, so you gotta always look for ways to learn more and make "connections" that are either logical or plausible...but trying to figure out things that most are either too scared to figure out (fear of labels such as "freak" or "crazy"😉, or too lazy to even bother (just stay "cool"😉.
Smart is something that always has to be refreshed, what's smart today is not smart tomorrow, once people know about the information that is considered as "smart", it becomes common and no longer unique. That's why in some countries, they want dumb people, because the rulers (who would be average Americans at best) can rule as superior human beings, they are less likely to want people to be literate and self-educated. Keeping people stupid keeps things simple for them, or at least, for their ego, it troubles the system, but as long as "The ruling class" are on top, "they" don't care. Look at Haiti and Africa for instance, the rulers blame the white man, not their own ego. Their ego requires stupid people, because they are average IQ at best, so they need their average people to be so stupid, their average IQ looks brillant.

Are you a student or have you graduated? What's your interest in life?
Try not to cast pearls before swine, esp. once you start in the work force, some people love to live in their own little world, and try not to disrupt this, if you do, they'll turn on you.
To avoid talking to others about things that bore them, you can start clubs, and it's good you shun the ones who are negative, b/c there are plenty of (respected) scientists who were mocked for their esoteric ideologies.
try to be creative within the law? see the movie The Prestige, you'll see N. Tesla (played by David Bowe), in the movie he states that humanity can take one change at a time, the first change the person is a hero, the next change, people are ready to kick you out...be careful about pushing change on people dear, I know your heart is good, but be careful, it will only frustrate you!
