i was watching a report with one of the Proffesors who had been prodicting something like this for years. he told them how they could cheaply construct 12 miles of stagered walls that would stop many of the areas totally flooded from seeing a drop of the flood water. they ignored him, built 3 or so miles of normal walls, people lost their homes and in some cases, their lives. hell, one group he went to ignored him, then stocked up on body bags. its sick watching the ineptitude after this horrific event.

Well if they were white you would be accusing him or racism or something along those lines.
I did see that Kayne West thing on Soup! it was fuuny when Mike looked at him strange. Kayne is trying to get more people to buy his CD{ Some of he's music is good}. Also Kayne is an High Drop-Out so why should we listen to a High School Drop- Out?
they spent more money on army corps projects in Lousiana than all states but Florida ($1.9 Billion total in Lousiana). Of that, less than $20 million has gone to the levees that protected New Orleans.
The group that disburses the funds is a Republican from my own state of New Mexico, Mr Pete Domenici. Ouch.

We should listen to him, not because he's a high school drop out, but because he was in a position to express what so many people were thinking. Besides, beng a high school drop out shouldn't effect the way he's thought of by his fellow citizens. Perhaps his opinion should be considered BECAUSE he's a high school drop out...in a country where these recent events have put a spot light on the black underclass and their struggle to be accepted as equals.
Besides, people who live in glass houses and didn't pay attention in class, shouldn't throw stones.
