here is my next poem. tell me what you think.
This body is weak, but this soul it couldn't be any stronger
People ask how i can stay up any longer
I've gained friends, I lost friends
I've been down that road, wonderin if it ever ends
I been knocked out, beat up, beat down, kicked too the ground
But still i kept my mouth shut, i didn't make a sound
Nope, got right back up and was on my way
Had my time of pains but still i knew one day it was gonna be okay
Yup, I had my moments, when i asked myself why
When i just wanted to give up, stop, break down and cry
But nooooooo i didn't stop
I knew some how I was gonna make it to the top
There were times on my back when i had a load
But you better believe i kept going right up that road
There were some high hills I had to climb too
How i got up most of um, I never knew
I have so many cuts, marks,bruises,scratches and scores
But i kept going knowing there was going to be more
Yea,this body may be week,but this soul, it couldn't be any stronger
People still ask me how can i stay up any longer
For there answer they sit and wait a while
I just look at um and give um a smile
I tell um, I still got more blocks to go,I'm not done
going down that road has not always been much fun
But still aint no stopin me
cause soon, very soon I'll have the key
then I'll be able to open that door
the door I always been waitin for
then i won't have to travel those hard bumpy road no more
every person wants a fairy tale
some one to help them if they fail
to sweep them up when times get rough
you know when, things get really tough
every person wants that one day
the day when every thing goes perfect and goes your way
every Girl wants that perfect guy
the one that saids nothing wrong and will never lie
where things never go wrong
and for dreams to happen, you didn't have to wait to long
ha, yea wouldn't that be nice
but this is reality so we have to think twice
so when you choose you have to be wise
don't do anything that would jeopardize
life isn't a fairy tail
you can't tun back time every time you fail
