They remain. He can't reabsorb the ones that die so jaime can just choose to either let the coroner take them away.He can reabsorb those that are still alive yet are seconds away from death . Although reabsorbing the ones that are about to die feels to him like a piece of his soul is being killed as well. it's not a pleasant feeling for him.

So wolverine might not ever get close to the original Jamie.

thats if jamies does not have a limit which is quite unlikly.

been upgraded. and even if he does reach a limit his clones are still fresh and can clone as much as he can.

1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192. . . etc etc.

1000 is enough guys........and Im guessing here but if one copy dies, can he then create one to sub for him? (always going back to at least 1000)

you can see it'd take significantly less time to hit the 1000 number. . .

clones come out of impact. snapping fingers,pounding hands,stomping foot,hitting his head on the pavement. the impact of having a heavy blade hitting your skin should help him to clone.

Bu the theirs the problem of how those clone come out. Normal or with three stab wounds?

I'm not sure but i think I have a comic where it shows him hurt yet the clone he makes is perfectly normal.

I can think of several "one man" that can beat 1,000 men.

Classic juggernaut for example, could take 1,000 men.
