Except that in comics, ninjas kill people about as well as Deadpool mixed with a gallon or two of alcohol and a six shooter from 1000 yards... They're basically cannon fodder.
That said, Multiple Man is probably a LOT more skilled than a ninja, and he isn't necessarily trying to hit WOvlerine, if he's being smart. All of his clones are simply throwing themselves at Wolverine's arms and legs, until one or two pin down each limb. Will he kill a bunch of em? Probably. Will he eventually get pinned down? Pretty much inevitably. It's not like MM creates a thousand and is instantly done. If anything, it'll take hours for Logan to take out all of them, and MM can probably bring out a few more, if need be. Wolverine will get overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

The genin of the Hand are said to be some of the best assassins in the world, each of them able to engage more then twelve men in unarmed combat. Its not that they suck just that everyone they fight is better then them

40 men holding him down or dog piling are going to hold him down. Wolverine is very strong but he's not that strong that he can lift 40 people up with one hand.

The original if uneffected by the death of one of his clones, never has to lay a finger on wolverine, just keep throwing clones at him, IF Jamie can keep that up then as Metalman said MM will wear wolverine down eventually. . . there is also the problem of all those corpses. . . if they remain upon the death of the clone that is. . .

They remain. He can't reabsorb the ones that die so jaime can just choose to either let the coroner take them away.He can reabsorb those that are still alive yet are seconds away from death . Although reabsorbing the ones that are about to die feels to him like a piece of his soul is being killed as well. it's not a pleasant feeling for him.
