Now I heard this but it may just be a rumor, at least I hope it is. Can you imagine the next James Bond ....... is....... Ashton Kutcher!!!!! The PTB think that it would bring a younger fan base to the films and that it is time for an American Bond. Personally I think this is ridiculous and I do hope that it is just someone's idea of a joke. For one thing I can not imagine Bond not being British and another thing Ashton is just so wrong for the part that it's laughable. Has anyone else heard about this? Please tell me it's not for real. 😠

Personally, I think they should do one or two more with Pierce. He's gotten very conformed to the role over the four movies he has already done and his ability to portray bond rivals even Sean C., 'cause it all boils done to a few things. How real can they make the fights look? How good are they at not over-doing the role and just being uber corny? Are they putting out a 007 flare, getting the ladies without looking like an ass? Pulling off the corny 'Bond Puns' when they kill someone and not sounding like an idiot? But after a few more films from Pierce, I'm sorry to say, I think Bond should die off. THe idea behind him has become so warped and the storylines that writers are pulling out of their butts are so unrealistic at times, well, it's depressing. All of the great Ian Fleming stories have been eaten up, so not much more can be done. I say, do a remake of the Pink Panther spoof 'Casino Royale' and make it serious, and based off of the Fleming Novel, and then possiblky make one or two more 007 films, and then let him die, in some dramatic, world-saving effort.

though, about the plotlines... you might remember Specter, right? well, I think that if they brought a terrorist organisation like them back in the story, it would give them a better line to follow, cause they form a constant treat and not like one evil guy over there that wants power or one on the other side of the world or whatever, but an organisation that wants one, that would be more dangerous
not to mention it would be very close to home sort of say with recent developments the last years
When they have been talking about a new bond it has been roumored that Ewan McGregor has come up many times as suggestions.
but he has said he hasnt been approched to play the role and isnt sure if he would want to because he is not sure if he would have time to make other movies, bond does take alot of work.
I love peirce brosnan and dont want to c him go...but if Ewan takes over i would b ok with that! 😄
