Worse- Arnold Schwarzenegger

Ewan isn't Bondish, his past roles just make it hard to distinguish himself as a possile Bond candidate.

and they already have a list of 5 or 6 actors to get the role
with most probably candidate being that guy who playes Dr Kovac on ER 😊

I disagree, if they were to use Hugh Jackman for example, they'd make a killing not only would the ladies flock to see him, but men would be curious to boot, not to mention JB nerds because of the change itself.

And that is true, but he was just one example, to really bring Bond back, they need to do something bold, hence the famous actor or something, even a very famous chick to be the Bond girl would work.
