Thats because he entered the series at a low point and has harvested it to an all time high. He should reap the harvest instead of letting others rob him of what he deserves. Besides, it goes against every Hollywood tradition and custom to dump an actor after he has delivered nearly half a billion in the last film.

well, he's 50, filming at earliest will begin end this year or next year, making him 51, with luck it will be released in the same year.

but than at EARLIEST they can make a movie he'll be 52-53; that is WAY too old

At his current state, he surely can do one more, dumping him is like robbing him of the role.

a stupid tv-magazine printed the interview that's by now a month old also claiming mister Bleurgh-Bleurgh Bloom would be Bond

they even claim the script is finished and that they're ready for shooting, except that Pierce won't return
it would be nice if they did some darn RESEARCH instead of blabantly copying it from sensation papers

They havent got a script yet thy're still writing it they've been doing it for probably a couple of months now cos i read this article that sed they had been doin it for 3 weeks which was a month or so ago now
