Nobody will ever match Pierce - he has the right COMBINATION of traits of all the previous Bonds. AP will be fine in a similar "appeal" to Connery... with his own interpretation that no one can really speculate on because he's only known for ONE role so far.

Maybe Adrian Paul wouldn't be recognized right away if he had blue contact lenses. They do come in various shades of blue. I have brown eyes and I've tried them - you can't tell there's brown eyes underneath! Haha!

My youngest child has dark blue / navy blue coloured eyes - so "blue" doesn't have to be "light blue" like most people expect.

Besides, contact lenses will only be seen if they do a close up on the whites of the eyes. 😉

How about an "Extreme Makeover"? Okay - you may need to have seen American TV for that - but then again I heard somewhere in Europe a TV show got pulled because the plastic surgery/liposuction and all that got to be too graphic. Show are much more graphic there in general!!!

Let Connery age gracefully - he's still nice to look at - just not Bond material anymore.

I'm not sure about the other guys, but at least I wouldn't pay much attention to the color of the eyes if it doesn't stand out that much (as noted earlier: you HAVE to notice that Frodo in LOTR has blue eyes)
