Why Clive Owen is Perfect
You've read it. Critics, writers, actors, directors, fans...they're all dropping the name Clive Owen. He's even been compared to a young Sean Connery. I mean, why not? It seems obvious - the man is cool in a tuxedo (Croupier) and drives a BMW like there's no tomorrow (The Hire). The man fits the profile for James Bond.
1. He's British. It's not the most important thing, but it's the first rule of thumb - the accent is everything.
2. Dark, handsome looks, chiseled features...you can definately see him snagging all the Bond girls.
3. He wears a tux "as if he were born in one" (GQ Magazine). It's the style of it. Clive is so stylish, he can pull off that high class, cheeky Bond style, we know it.
4. You've seen The Hire series. The guy was meant to drive Bond's cars. Imagine the movie "Star" with James Bond's gadgets.
5. The man can ACT the part. Yes, it's startling. Clive is amazingly talented, good with guns, and can do just about anything with a camera pointed at him.
So, you can see I have faith in Clive. He's got what it takes to be an amazing James Bond. Of course, Brosnan would be a hard one to follow, but Clive can handle it. After all, he's Owen. Clive Owen.

i agree that collin ferrel looks the part and could do a good job, i thought he did a good job with the recruit which is somewhat similar. either him or clive owen would be the best choice i think but ferrell would have my vote.. the pierce/QT project could be very cool too
