montross vs. canderous

*montross is the opposing bounty hunter in the game "bounty hunter" for those of you who don't know. i hope i spelled it right*

Canderous would waste him.

really, why so?

I see the Mandalorians in the same way many people see the Jedi. Back in Canderous' time, they were fighting a lot. Mandalorians in Montross' time were down to like one planet. They also aren't very good for the most part because Komari Vosa was able to kill twenty of them(which is as gay as anything in the NJO IMO).

So basically, I see the Mandalorians in general weaker. Canderous was the best Mandalorian alive in his time(except for the one Revan killed, but he may have surpassed him by KOTOR 2, we'll probably never know) versus who is at best the second strongest Mandalorian of a weaker time.

well, montross has a jetpack, well at least we know the fight would look cool(especially if the got into unarmed melee combat)

If this Canderous dude was the best of the mandalorean he probably had some attunement to the force or something.. That's how it works in SW, he would probably rock Montross' world!

i don't think canderous is force sensitive he just kicks butt

Sure, c'mon, on every planet there must be people who are force sensative! All the greatest warriors must be in the SW universe!! Yippie!!!

thats like saying jango kicks butt so he's probably force sensitive. some people are just good and can kick butt without excess amounts of midi-chlorians

Candarous wins, the Mandalorians have grown weaker over time, when Kreia said what would happen to them, she said that "They will die a death that will last millennia, until all that remains is their code, their history, and, in the end, the shell of their armor upon the shell of a man, too easily slain by Jedi.” So if she does not even consider Jango to be a true Mandalorian, and by the sounds of it, he was weaker than even the weakest Mandalorians, then the leader of those Mandalorians would own Jango, who owned Montross. To keep it simple, Montross has no chance.

Actually, now that I think of it, the PT jedi are very weak if Jango is hardly considered a Mandalorian, yet he was more than a match for many jedi and was considered to be very deadly by Mace himself. Doesn't speak well for the PT jedi

i wholeheartedly disagree with anyone who slaps a big "weak" label on Jango

Kreia(or the KOTOR 2 developers) don't know what they are talking about. Jango wasn't the last Mandalorian, so her prophecy about the Mandalorians has not happened.

Was Jango even a Mandalorian? I thought he was adopted by them, and that the last true Mandalorians had already died out.

The Mandalorians are a group, like the Jedi Order or the Rebellion. They aren't a species. Canderous is human too, I think.

She never specifically refers to Jango or Boba as Mandalorians though. She just says that all that will remain of their legacy will die with Jango.
