Indeed......

personally i get annoyed at the trend of countries to apologise for their history...particularly tony blair apologising to japan for ww2...despite the fact that they refused to do the same and despite the difference in what acts were carried out

there also seems to be a prevalent "dont mention the war" attitude towards germany and their involvment in ww2 more than any of the other nations involved

a good story i was told was from the last anniversary of the D-Day landings

while there was all the pagentry and ceremony involved in celebrating the allied soldiers who died...among it all a German man who is now in his 80's went to lay a single wreath next to the pillbox where 4 of his friends were killed at omaha beach on D-Day...

the 5 men in the bunker fired on the advancing allied troops for 8 hours and at the end of the fight over 3000 allied troops lay dead in front of their position

they were fighting just the same as any other soldiers and the man only wanted to remember his friends who died...the say after a small stone was erected to remember them it was desecrated...

on the other hand a gurkha fighting for the UK in the philipines fought off a japanese advance single handedly for 8 hours with one arm severely injured by a grenade (several of which he had already thrown back) and he was given the victoria cross...Britains highest military honour

And you created this thread purely to irritate Bardock because you thought he himself justified the holocaust. He didn't. Nobody here does or did, some people were just saying that others could.

Yes, ok sorry...I guess I went a little to emotional there......I shouldn't have called you that.......but I don't know who Wiesenthal is, I am relatively sure though that just because he died we shouldn't be forbidden to state the truth....

no others have posted and agreed, however its difficult to put yourself in someone elses mind when they hear the words "justified and holocaust" together. I actually understood what you said from this morning, so I guess I should have stopped then, however I had been pissed off and didn't. So in that sense I was out of order and I apologise to you.
