Whirly, I'm pretty sure the Grand Moff is from Star Wars. Grand Moff Tarkin was a character. And no, he wasn't German.

Germans killed people of my country too. But am I pissed on the Germans today? No. They are other people. Btw, some of the Germans were against the war and fighting but had to.

Because it can be justified..

Why should your family matter on this subject. It can or can not be justified. People dying in WWII does not change that.

Let me ask you two questions.

1.) Did people justify it during WWII?
2.) Did people justify the burning of Dresden?

In both cases I would answer yes, does that mean that everything that did was insane? No. It just means they were sons of bitches that deserve a swift kick in the nuts. Doesn't make them insane.

The germans considered the Jews to be less then humans to be like pigs. Butchers slaughter pigs too, they don't have a problem with that. As long as you can see them as pigs as long as you are brainwashed enough then killing people is no problem and it hardly makes you insane.
