Spider-man vs. Shatterstar

Started by ThePittman2 pages

If this was true that Spidey can see every attack before its coming then how the hell does he ever get hit. Hell he has been tagged by so many people it’s not even funny. To name a few Lizard Man, Wolverine, Sand-Man, Goblin, Hobgoblin and hell even Juggernaut. None of these guys, except for Wolverine is even close to SS speed or fighting ability yet they still land blows on him.

SS has gone toe to toe with Longshot who by many rights is on the level of Spidey when it comes to dodging and SS is still around. You analogy about a fist and a truck is way off to what I said. You are comparing to totally different things when I’m comparing sword strikes and the reaction to the same attack. Example when he strikes from the left he jumps back and to the left every time depending on the terrain, people are creatures of habit and will repeat the same action unless trained other wise.

Shatterstar also lifts class 10 tons

I'm gonna go with Spider Man. Shatterstar can't take him alone.

Now just remember that all I’m saying is that it will not be easy as everyone says like 10/10 or 9/10. Spidey has gotten his but handed to him with less skilled and slower fighters so I would give it more like 6/10 to Spidey.

And has defeat LOTS of villains much more dangerous than Shatterstar.

If Spider-man has his Iron suit I think he would be able to catch a sword in mid swing then snap it in half.Like he did to that ninja from the hand.

That's why I'm saying 6/10, weeker has beaten him and he has defeated stronger though I gave him the edge.

Do you wanna read boring comics? Cuz that's all you'll get with a comic like that. "The Amazing Spider-Man! He never gets hit!"

Doesn't sound too good, does it?

And that's just what I've been trying to tell you. Spidey doesn't really stick to habits. He just attacks. Pretty much never the same way twice in the same fight. Have you seen his fights. If he was so predictable, lesser villians would've been able to take advantage of this and defeat him. But, since his attacks are all pretty much based on instinct, they can change as much as he wants them, too. So really, it's near impossible to accurately predict what Spidey will do in a fight. ESPECIALLY if he can't be kept up with, which will be Shatterstar's problem in this fight.

OK, let go back and look at some things. One, you said that he knows when and where an attack will be coming from so that would mean that he can’t get hit. I know that it would be boring to read about a hero that can’t get hit, that’s why I hate Flash. However the fact that he does get hit means that SS can hit him, proven by the fact that lesser fighters then SS have done so. Case in point SS hits Spidey then Spidey looses a leg or arm, and nice try at humor but not even close to my point that you have completely missed.

Obviously you have never read any behavior science; instincts only go so far and are extremely predictable. Put fire in front of a dog and it backs away, what would be unpredictable would be the dog biting the fire which would have to be taught that. As I have said before and you keep missing SS has fought agile fighters like Spidey in Mojoworld arenas all of his life, he was raised as a combatant from the day that he was born and is still alive and kicking. Granted that the writers don’t play up on this much but for the sake of this thread he is a bad a** in fighting and way more experienced then Spidey in combat.

You need to watch the UFC more and you will see that a more skilled and experienced fighter will usually beat the faster and stronger fighter more often. In a real fight SS should take him more often but since this isn’t real life Spidey 6/10.
