Snakes On a Plane

Or King Kong in King Kong.

I mean really. How much better was that than 'Mighty Joe Young' which was like 10 years ago?

There was a snake in Narnia too, right?

These are better...they're Snakes on a Plane! Can't beat 'em!

I thought Kong was amazing... the rest of the vfx in the film were crap, though.

Never saw Narnia...

But seriously, these snakes are less believable than Anaconda.

The CG still leaves much to be desired...

Awesome! (I mean it...I'm looking forward to SOaP) 😄

hey i give him credit at least it isnt a remake

at least no one can say it's not a unique concept.... though i've read the script, and it's your typical cheesy action flick. but really. who can deny the AWESOMENESS of snakes? on a plane?

It looks awesome. im going ot see it a couple of days after my birthday

Come on! Anyone else getting hyped?

This movie is gonna rock the box office!

the trailer didn't look so good. people being attacked by snakes. looks lame to me.

Here is exactly why the movie is going to be a commercial and cult phenomenon: Snakes...on a plane. The greatness of the movie is the fact that the plot is so obvious. In fact, Samuel L. Jackson signed on to the movie because of the title. According to him, he didn't even read it. And he threatened to leave the project when they wanted to change the title to Pacific Air 121 (reportedly to 'class up' the film a little). Who cares if the plot is given away? Does anyone think any less of the Old Man and the Sea because the key plot points is given away?

And in response to the person who said Samuel L. Jackson isn't a great actor, I say nay! Sam Jackson is perhaps one of the most legendary actors of this generation. There are few actors that can send a film's popularity rocketing skyward like Samuel L.

In short, the title is key. Sure it's obvious what the movie's about, but to quote Mr. Jackson: "That's the motherf**kin POINT!" Without the title, the movie would fail, both commercially and critically. Without the title, the movie would be a piece of sh!t. In fact, it probably still be a piece of sh!t, but it will be a piece of sh!t that a lot of people will love. And that's the real point of Hollywood: to entertain us.

Nicely put. I'm not expecting the movie to actually be quality... but I do, however, expect it to entertain me.

This movie truly looks horrible... Why anyone would see it is beyond me. Take a look yourself: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417148/

It does look horrible, I can't believe Jackson agreed to doing that shit.

It doesn't get much cooler than this... Snakes... on a Plane... with Sam Jackson!

Best. Mother****in'. Clip. Ever.

I want to see it. I heard a lot of funny sh*t happens, and I heard most crowds make the movie funnier.

To quote Samuel L. Jackson: "I mean, there are some people who would never dare to even pick up a script that said Snakes On A Plane. The same people that are criticizing or vilifying me because I've done it. "How could you? A piece of slop film that's caught hold on the Internet—keep feeding into America's lowest common denominator." It's like, the dumbing-down of America is because of the making of films like Snakes On A Plane? Come on. Moviemaking is entertainment. It's not math. Every movie that you make doesn't have to change the social fabric of the world or America or whatever. Some people want to go to the movies so they don't have to think about what's going on around them, or how much gas costs when they have to drive to the movie theater. They just do it." I just came back from seeing the movie. It delievered on EVERYTHING it promised, and more. It had a solid plot, great action, genuinely scary moments, and it was all-around a great movie. Add the ****in' snakes, and it was ****in' AMAZING!!!
