you're on the right track.. just observe proportional rules, and then apply them to anime

simplistic anime bodies :

thats where i started off..it svery good for learning the basic structure of anime ^^

i suggest learning the basics before attempting anime style drawings. even the greatest of the greatest anime artists did that! there are no shortcuts unless you were born with an innate talent, and those types are rare indeed!

Yeah, and definately try not to become overwhelmed by the different aspects of things.. just tackle it head-on
