Darkseid vs Odin

Yeah, but she”s visibly not the same as she was when she was amped. She”s likely no longer amped by all the connective energy in history, but just has whatever “ascension” amp the Hands gave her to make her a peer of the Quintessence. Either that or current Darkseid >> Quintessence >>> Darkest Knight, which definitely isn”t true.

But by all that logic Darkseid shouldn't be more powerful than Spectre either. But here we are. Going by on panel things Diana was elevated while she still had the amp.

Wdym? Darkseid rn is more powerful than he”s ever been, which would include the prior incarnations of his true form. The issue isn”t Darkseid being able to do what he did to the Quintessence, the issue is there is nothing to explicitly suggest Diana retained the amp she received fighting the Batman Who Laughs. I don”t see why she would retain the connective energy amp or any proof suggesting she did, so there”s no reason to definitively say Darkseid > Perpetua or DK.

That said, I think it”s possible Darkseid will become the next arch villain since he has no upper bound. The guy implied he”s way more powerful than ever rn and literally just grabbed the Quintessence + Spectre and liquefied them with barely a gesture. It”s possible that in the restored Omniverse, Darkseid is even more cosmically relevant than before given that he”s sealed on Earth Omega, which is implied to be some sort of nexus of power unlike anything amongst an infinity of Multiverses.

So I wouldn”t put it past DC to place Darkseid at the top of the villain hierarchy in this newly restored, bigger than ever Mini-Omniverse.

ffs they’re all measuring sticks. They get their ass beat a lot or don't have many good showings, can't remember the last time The Spectre, Ganthet and Highfather were consistently as powerful as they're meant to be.

So if they're measuring sticks......

Just last week Shazam's power disrupted the entire omniverse (infinite multiverses). Raven with Shazam and four horseman's power literally destroyed the multiverse and infected every reality in omniverse to her power.

Mind you, the wizard's power (Last of it) could disrupt the fabric of the omniverse.

DC characters are getting lots of feats.

The hands outright said that they are elevating her while she had the power and Quintessence said the same. Unable to post scans of that. Will post.

Yeah, I”d like to see the scans tbh. Hard to believe the Quintessence is more powerful than Darkest Knight when it was explicitly stated that Perpetua was the only being in the Multiverse who could match his power. It was also stated the beings in the Sphere of Gods were shuddering at DK’s power.

Ascended WW is >>> quintessence. They wanted her on her side and the crap about ascended to their level is just crap. She’s beyond them. On the level of the hand.

These guys are skyfather level at best individuals with Only member above. I thought that it was a station not because they are some ascended beings. Where were they during death metal or against perpetua? Defeating them isn’t a big deal but defeating them with the Ps and the spectre is.

I would tend to agree. I mean, Spectre needed an amp from members of the quintessence and other insanely powerful sorcerers to match COIE Anti-Monitor, who is less than nothing to the power of DK or Perpetua.

Personally, I believe WW lost/expended the amp when she destroyed Darkest Knight. She”s no longer Golden or implied to be empowered when talking to The Hand, and they pretty much erased and reset the Multiverse to how it was, just completely unbounded. Her “ascension” was to make her part of the Quintessence, not to add an amp to what she got fighting Darkest Knight.

He attacked them from behind he didn't actually take the team on solo.

Darkseid. No contest.

Yeah, it does seem to be that Spectre/Phantom Stranger are above the rest, but they did appear in the Perpetua arc when they saved the JL from her:

Glad you guys made sense of my post. Writing and editing on a small phone screen causes me to screwup with what I’m trying to say.

I meant that all the quintessence guys are sky father level at best as individuals except PS and the Spectre.

@phil, I wasn’t aware of that. Sheesh I’ll have to rethink where the quintessence stands now. Only makes Darkseid more powerful.

Yeah, and based on Abhi’s scans the last bit of Wizard Shazam’s power was recently shown as omniversal/affecting an infinity of Multiverses. Darkseid erasing them without even gesturing given the hype and feats the quintessence has gotten is probably the most or close to the most impressive feat in recent DC History.

It's inconsistency/writers error, not a retcon. 🤦🏽‍♂️. The New Gods should’ve been unaffected by the Crises because they’re outside the multiverse even before all the Morrison kabal BS. Darkseid has always been a singular entity.

😂 Yeah right like anybody's gonna believe they ass pull he was "split" by the crisis, everything still remains the same, nothing new changed.

the salt. 😆

The new gods being fragmented across the multiverse was detailed in Multiversity in case anyone missed it.

The last time it was referenced was here. There are gods even higher than the New Gods.

reported to fbi, cia and nsa

now you need to delete scans or face arrest, golgo

The Quintessence were the one who gathered energy from Dr Manhattan and gave it to Diana who was fighting Perpetua to standstill and burned her powers out.

Does that necessarily imply their power exceeds Manhattan?
