If you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about something, you wouldnt be afraid. Imagine an infant right in front of a dangerous snake.
To know too little is fear, you may have heard snakes bite and are poisonous, but only a few in the area are, but people don't realize that.
Snake=death.
Then if you have enough knowledge you can be more accepting and understanding of what is around you, without being afraid as much, but apprehensive over things, or cautious.

Fear is embedded in our reptilian mind, it's there to keep us alive.
It made us naturally "fear" creepy crawling things. Why? Because some of them can kill you.
We naturally fear snakes, even non venomous. Why? Because some might kill you.
Racism is just an offshoot of fear, and thusly is a natural self preserving act. A defense mechanism against the unknown.
But, that's where it ends. There is a MAJOR difference between self preservation and unfounded hate.

But Spelljammer should maybe try to get stupid humans to know so Spelljammer doesn't need to talk aboot their stupidity so often...except Spelljammer actually finds entertainment in misunderstanding other people and pretending to be someone wise which Spelljammer is obviously not.
