Then, Neji got into the gentle fist style, and proceeded to hit softly - yet somehow painfully- against the opponents back. Then he spun around and kicked him swiftly in the right arm.

Shino ran through the trees and finally reached the opening. The chakra-levels he was sensing went off the scale, and both had become demonically evil. He reached sight of a bridge, and saw them. One was a scary looking demon, much like the stories he heard of the nine-tailed fox, and the shukaku. He saw that the demon was fighting one of the members of the akatsuki, he believed it was Uchiha Sasuke's older brother. He didn't know which of the two he would assist, considering both were so evil. He decided he'd stay hidden farther back, but sent several beetles up ahead to "scope" the scene.

"Brother." Sasuke spat out. His eyes filled with loathing hate. "it will be by my hand that you will die." Gathering his chakra in the palm of his right hand, Sasuke got ready to attack his brother. The murderer did not deserve an honourable death, but he would give him one anyways.
"Sasuke!!!!!!!!!!!" Sakura threw herself in front of her crush. "Don't do it Sasuke-kun!"

Kankuro and Kiba slowly made there way to the Leaf Village. Staying hidden, Kankuro followed Kiba to a nearby shop, where Kiba purchased water and food. Quietly joining Kankuro they ate together hidden in a tree. "You know, I could betray you at any moment." Kiba stated looking at Kankuro. Kankuro merely chuckled. "That I doubt." Kiba closed his eyes and leaned his back against the tree. "You do know I could betray you as well." Kankuro said. Kiba smiled and fell into a light sleep. Taking a sip of water, he stared down at the village below... he was beginning to feel a little homesick. Looking back over at Kiba, he too fell asleep.

"Chouji." Shikamaru was waiting for his friend to catch up. The Akimichi genin had stopped to buy more snacks and until now, Shikamaru hadn't realized that he was missing. Now he sat, waiting for his companion to appear. Staring at the blue sky through the tree's green leaves, the genin muttered his favorite phrase: "How bothersome..."
"Shi-Shikamaru!!!" Chouji grumbled through a potato chip filled mouth. He was carrying several bags and even a tub of ice cream. He lifted his arms and handed Shikamaru the ice cream. "It's your favorite flavor! Vanilla with Chocolate turtles! I know you like them because the turtles look like clouds!" Chouji said happily, stuffing his face with even MORE chips. "So...what are we doin today?"
Ino was wandering around.
"I'm lost!" she said groaning. "Think Ino." she said "if I was Shikamaru or Chouji, where would I be..." she pause and then shouted "FOOD! Chouji wouldn't go anywhere without food, so I'll just go to the nearest store." she started walking, she knew her way to her house, after all, she was a ninja. Once she began to see her village in the distance, she smiled and ran towards it. She stopped in a store and saw Shikamaru and Choiji. She ran up to them
"I thought I'd never be happy to see you guys!" she yelled huging Shikamaru. She turned to Choiji and looked at him in disgust. Potato chips on his clothes. She turned around and sat down, her feet aching.
"Probably just some wolves." Shikamaru popped a turtle into his mouth. Suddenly, he was tackled from behind by Ino, who almosted caused him to drop the ice cream. "Ino, where were you?"
"Dammit! Gaara, kankuro. Where did you go off to?" Temari was making her way through the forest on the ground. She had awoken that morning to find her siblings gone. It was nearing the full moon, and Gaara was unpredictable at this time. "I'm not suppose to leave you alone."
Gaara meanwhile was wandering. He was going nowhere in particular, he just wanted to get away. At least, that's what he was telling himself in his head. Where he really was going, was Konoha.
He was headed to Konoha for one reason- To find Rock Lee. He wanted to talk to him, and find out his motivation. He was unaware of how he would react. Maybe he would attack him. Maybe he wouldn't. After all, he did help him in the fight with Kimimaro. He supposed that he was heading to Konoha for answers. And to find out what it's like to live...in peace.
Gaara had been walking for a pretty long time. The sun was beating down on him, but it didn't matter. He was used to the heat. The forest was thick and brushy, but Gaara persevered. He had sat down to rest briefly, just staring ahead of him, when someone revealed themselves. Gaara looked up and saw a fellow shinobi.
His elder sister Temari was standing there, sweating, dirty, and filled with twigs in her hair. Gaara remembered that she hated forests. He stared back at her, his face unmoving. he was wondering what it was that she was doing here. She was probably looking for that lazy konoha ninja whom she fancied. He stood up and began to walk away from her. He didn't want to talk to her.
