However it is easier to spot than most needles due to the vacuum of air that it creates and lets the opponent see it

Appearence:
The snow quietly fell across Konohagakure along with the sorrounding area. The trees barren of any flowers, let alone leaves, their limbs outstretching here and there only marked winter. Standing quietly in front of a memorial marker was the easily recognizable Jounin Hatake Kakashi. The signature head band covering his left eye remained their as his right was quietly half closed reading the names. Christmas was tomorrow, so he guessed that was something to look foreward to. Then again, he hadn't really been Christmas shopping at all for friends. He'd most likely wait until the last minute in order to do so as he gave a light bow to the memorial. Turning slowly, he kept his hands in his pockets as a scarf remained around his neck as well. A coat covered the top of his form as well, before he began taking the road back to his home.
(Alrighty then, i'm back baby! As is SilentDreams ((told you so sd)) and the characters I'm going to play are....Kimimaro, Neji, Haku and Shikamaru. I might hop in later as Gaara later, since I think i made a pretty good one. And i'll start with the newest character to enter this roleplay...Kimimaro!)
The light snowfall was beautiful. It was romantic...it was enchanting...it was perfect. The frozen lake gave off a glare of the suns rays, and the sight was captivating. Near the standing in the light blanket of snow, a 15 year old boy was staring at the ground. At first, it would appear as though he just wasn't paying any mind to anything, but he was focusing on the foreign object blossoming from the cold ground...a beautiful flower.
His lavender overcoat was wrapped around him tightly, and he held it together with his left hand. His white hair was moistening from the falling snowflakes, and his boots were becoming heavier. He bent down closer, and picked the flower.
"Come now...you don't want to die here do you?" Kimimaro said holding the flower gently. He brushed the flakes from the flowers petals.
"It would be a shame, for you to die for no purpose. A flower needs to be given to someone, it is the reason for your existence." He said smiling, his eyes closed. He stood up, and the sun glinted off the beautiful flower. He remembered that day....it seemed so long ago...
"There probably isn't any meaning in life...but perhaps you can find something interesting while you are here...like how you found that flower....like how I found you..."
"Orochimaru-Sama"...Kimimaro whispered to himself. He put the flower in a pouch in his jacket, and started back on his way towards Orochimaru's housing. He knew that he shouldn't have been out during this weather, especially with his sickness, but he didn't care. He loved the first snowfall....
The snow was actually nice enough, the jounin's eyes carefully gazing to the left then finally halting straight ahead. His one visible optic slowly shifted to focus in on the figure walking along the road, the recognizable pink hair easily a dead giveaway. "Sakura." The jounin didn't bother speeding up his footsteps as he slowly continued to approach her, a slight thought pressing his mind. What in the world would she want for Christmas? Probably some hair product or something like that.
Those crimson pools gazed at the somewhat blinding white snow. The fox-like anbu mask covered the male's features, as his black hair was easily strewn with snow flakes. The identity of the male would most likely be unable to be identified let alone someone see him. Near the very tops of the trees, the bark felt somewhat slick against the male's sandals as he simply disregarded it. He was gazing at the surroundings, more or less the fortifications of Konohagakure to be exact. If all went well, then he and his partner would be able to capture the blonde-haired boy who had what their leader wanted. Those crimson pools only continued staring at the high walls, thoughts resting as is.
Eyes stared quietly at a blank bed, digits slowly curling nearly into a fist. Serpentine in nature, those eyes quietly wandered to the closet in the room, pushing the door slowly aside he noticed a coat and boots missing. So, Kimimaro had did as he thought. That face carefully toned a more or less angered expression instantly melting away to a pallid exterior. The housing was warm, he had kept it warm for himself and the solitary follower he decided to bring. Closing the door to the room, form turned to quietly shift towards the living room. Each step brought him closer as he finally dropped himself on one of the cushions. An arm resting along the piece of furniture, eyes opened once more awaiting the follower's return.
Christmas was different from Nara Shikamaru's perspective. To everyone else, Christmas was joyous time! Everyone was anxious, excited, happy, enthusastic, and even "giddy" around the holidays. To everyone but him, Christmas was the most exciting time of the year.
To him however...christmas was "Troublesome."
In his head, it was too troublesome to be enthusiastic, to hard to deal with all the people around him singing and praising and dancing and all of the festivities. He felt as though it took to much energy to even be enthusiastic at the "little things in life" let alone at a time where excitement and joy were a prerequisete. So while everyone else was shopping, mingling, and sitting in front of the fire, Nara Shikamaru was sleeping on his windowsill, after a long day of gazing at the falling snowflakes.

Kimimaro's trip back was short, as it was cut down from simply jumping from tree to tree. Back at Orochimaru's lair, Kimimaro slowly closed the door to his room. The presence in the room was foreboding, as Kimimaro met the serpentile eyes of one of the many occupants of the "home"
He removed his damp cloak, shirt, and boots, and sit upon his bed, meeting glances with the man sitting in the room. He put the flower in a vase next to his bed. The computer monitors beeped and clicked digits and figures, filling the room with noise. Other than that...silence.

Personiality: Touka is quiet, smart and sensitive. Often times she can be found simply sitting and reading to herself about the things she wishes to learn and acheive. She has slight problems trusting people and accepting them into her life due to scars from the past. Her fighting style reflects her personality. She fights confidently, silently. She keeps a calm head, how ever she sometimes holds back. An odd factor about Touka is that despite her gentle silence, she can often act quite imulsively, completely on instinct. Her biggest fear is being rejected, hated, and then isolated.
Bio: Touka and her twin brother, Hyouten were born during a freezing winter storm, and thought to be an omen for this reason. Their mother , who had been great jounin, had turned ill natured and supposedly insane when Hyouten was killed at age four. The reason for this horrified many. Touka's mother was exiled after she attempted murdering the Kage , and Touka was kept monitored at all times in fear she might ' do what her brother did' . She did not learn what this was untill her 7th birthday. She has been living in her mothers house scince she was 9, and tries hard to hold up. Her older neighbor had taught her quite a few justsu before he died, and she carried them with her all through her academy years. This gave her quite an advance and had her promoted quickly and easily.
Weapons: She carries a thin, light weight, razor sharp chain that, with just the right precision, can slice just about anything ( if thats ok...) and 3 Kunai 2 Shuriken 1 Explosion Tag.

Walking slowly she spotted her teacher, Kakashi.

"Hello Kakashi-sensei!" she said cheerfully. "Are you out Christmas shopping?" she said approaching closer to him.
When it was cold in the desert...it was cold.
Gaara lay motionless on the stone commision house in Sunagakure. His maroon clothing slowly gathering flakes of snow, he looked off into the sky. It had been snowing for several days in the village of the Sand, and Gaara seemed to enjoy it. The strange sensation of the cold was a different feeling as opposed to the dry and coarse sand he was so accustomed to. Another thing he was unaccostomed to, was that everyone in the village was increasingly nicer around this time of year. Before, when he was the "old Gaara" the idea of a "holiday" was enough to strengthen his bloodlust, but this "new" Gaara was intrigued by the idea. And it was all thanks to his friend Uzumaki Naruto.
Gaara owed alot to Naruto. If it wasn't for his intervention in his fight with Uchiha Sasuke, and the strength of his heart, Gaara would still be the same murderous being he used to be. Now, albeit not exactly the most comforting of people, Gaara was slowly becoming more humble. The days until this..."Christmas" were winding down, and Gaara thought it would be interesting to see what everyone would think if he was a bearer of christmas presents. He remembered along time ago when he was younger, he had bought a new soccerball for the kids in his school, but it didn't exactly have a "happy-ending" to it. The memory of Gaara's childhood began to make Gaara tense, and he stood from his position. His cold green eyes gave away little emotion or gave away what he was thinking. He turned and headed to his home, back with Kankuro and Temari. The snow whistled in the evening, and Sabaku No Gaara had - even if ever so slightly - a sense of happiness.
But was this happiness? Gaara had never really felt happy...unless he was killing. But that was the old Gaara. The new Gaara had friends.
And he planned on keeping them. When he got back to his home, he entered the living room and was greeted by his elder sister, who seemed excited. She held a scroll in her hand, and waved Gaara over. Looking around, Gaara noticed Kankuro wasn't in the room, he must have been in the workshop installing "surprises" into Karasu, or Kuroari.
"Gaara! You won't believe this!" She said happily.
And he didn't.
Touka Hyuuga wandered silently through the new fallen snow. Her footsteps made crisp new impressions, and she hummed softly. Christmas was closing in. She remembered Hyouten and she used to try tirelessly to learn the yuki jutsu that they had been shown. Memories echoed through her mind. The day he came home, the day he died, the day she found out why. She missed her brother, so very much. The truth, however, was that he had died long beofre his actual death
" Don't you believe them!! Don't you drink their poison! "
In his last moments, he had been himself though. She saw it in his violet eyes. A sigh escaped her lips. The many memories haunting her mind were tearing her up inside. She closed her eyes tightly, and continued on fyrther. Finally she opened them.
She had gone quite a distance now. She sat down, her back resting upon a huge tree. Her twin's belligerent nature seemed exactly opposite hers now. She looked upwards. A new snow had begun to fall. Small flakes clung to her nose, mouth, eyelashes. Finally she opened her mouth.
" I won't ." She said aloud.
