Shikamaru pulled the folded piece of paper out of his pocket. He had a large shopping bag hanging over his shoulders, and he checked his christmas list to make sure he got everybody.
"Let's see, Ino, Choji, Hinata, Naruto...." He'd gotten a gift for everyone (and it caused his wallet to lose some serious weight).-----------------------------------------------
Neji had finished shopping earlier than he had expected, and he placed the shopping bag over the chair in his room. The hyuga complex was quieter, and he wondered where Hinata was. Perhaps her and the rest of team 8 were still decorating for the party. Neji decided to pour himself some of his favorite tea, and began his meditation reps.

The large hill of Konoha was filled with laughing children. The young academy students were building snow-shinobis, skating, having snowball fights, and having hella fun. The hill was appropriately named "Shinobi's end" for the brave children daring enough to tobaggon all the way down the treacherous mini-mountain. The childrens laughs could be heard through Konohagakure, and the scene seemed like that out of t.v christmas special. Then one noise was heard over all the rest.
"WAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
There was a rumbling sensation throught shinobi's end as a large yell bellowed through the ear drums of all the playing children. Then they saw it, the bright blonde hair of the worst ninja ever - Uzumaki Naruto.
"YAHOOOEY!!!!" Naruto yelled as he jumped several feet in the air. His bright orange winter cloak stood out among all the rest, and he came crashing down on a circular tube. He began sliding down the hill, "ALLLRIGHT!!! I'M GOING TO MAKE IT ALL THE WAY DOWN! TEBAYO!" Naruto yelled as he began to grow smaller and smaller making his way down the large hill. The children and their parents watched idley by as the loud-mouth genin slid down the dangerous hill.
Iruka just happened to be watching the academy students, and was slightly embarrased at Naruto's shenanigans.
"WOOOOOoooooooooo!" Naruto yelled all the way down. "This is toooooo easy!" He yelled picking up speed and looking behind him to give the onlookers a thumbs up. Then he was going TOO fast. His tube turned up vertically and he crashed into the snow. He had too much momentum however, and began to curl into a big snowy boulder.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!" The unfortunate boy yelled as the boulder grew larger and larger. Then with a defining SMACK, his makeshift snowbubble collided with a large oak tree. The snow shook from the branches, covering Naruto even more. His head finally made his way through the top, his eyes cross-eyed.
"Naruto....." Iruka said, slapping his forehead in disapproval.
"hehe." Naruto tried to smirk off the embarrasment.
Sakura crossed off everyone on her christmas list.
"Got everyone just in time" she said sighing. She was almost broke with only a few coins left, so she thought that she could help buy something for the party. If Hinata needed something.
*Where did Gaara go?* Temari thought she searching for her brother.
"Kankuro! Did you see Gaara?!" Temari yelled. She listned for a reply, and finally she heard a faint "no". She sighed and went toget her coat. She went outside and looked for Gaara. She called out his name but heard nor reply.
"Where is he?" she asked herself with a worried look on her face.
