" Huh?" she turned, blushing. " Naruto..w..was talking about..m..me?!" She smiled, looking down to disguise her slightly reddened face. She still liked him a little,...even though she had thought she'd gotten over that." You're welcome to come too, um..what's your name? "
~Ok, you are really pushing me here. And, in fact, ice and water ARE different elements. Ice, is a solid, composed of molecules molded together. And I do know about shinobi arts. And you should have said something in your character's profile if he could control elements. I wouldn't be mouthing off either since your grammar is horrible and your posts are weak. And if you have something more to say, PM me, don't go blocking up a good thread with a newbish ooc reply
Hah hah! But what if I want them to touch me, Jill? 😉 Whoops, did I say that? Tsk, tsk... ^.^~
Her eyes softened slightly, making her seem like a cat. A feline would arch its back, hissing and spitting at something that threatened it. Then, when the danger seemed to ease down, a cat's fur lay flat and it could relax its muscles. Slowly, she seemed to immerge out of her shell. Still, with the other one around, she would not give out her name. When he offered to help, a snarl rose from her throat, moving like thunder through her esophagus and blowing like steam from her flarred nostrils. It was something her akuma side had made her develope. A tigeress with flare her nostrils during birth, while the male's find it far easier to breath during a good hunt. It was obviously a way of expressing clear fury, as the gleam in her eyes helped to show.
She let her fangs slide from her normal human teeth. Biting through the cloth, she ripped it into several strips, wrapping the girl's arm up as best she could. Being a woman, she remember how her village had pressured her to take healing and med classes instead of the normal ninja lessons. It was a sexist thing, something that had been around for generations. Eyes flickered upwards as the girl gave out her name. Hinata? For a moment, she envied the name. It was so pretty. It fit the girl rather nicely. Why had she been given such a vile name? Well, her name fit her as well she supposed. She was filthy, and a sin upon the earth. She didn't deserve to li...
Her stomach growled, forcing a growl out of her own throat as well. She glared down at it, demanding it to be silent, but still it wailed. She blushed slightly in embarrassment. Slowly, her eyes turned back to normal, no longer a tiger-like gaze. This girl was very kind, no doubt about that. Perhaps she would accept receiving some foo..
"No! We do not take charity! We are not strays!"
She clenched her jaws together, forcing her reply to remain quiet. It would look rather queer if she began to shout at herself. Keeping her jaws tightly clamped, she thought over what the girl said. It seemed, after a long moment of silence, that she had gone into a type of daze.
"No. I'm sorry, but I cannot accept your offer." Her voice was sprinkled with regret. Oh what was she doing?! Rice, ramen, cakes... it was all just a 'hai' away! She shook her head. No. She wouldn't get close to anyone. She was hunted, and anyone she became involved with would surely be in trouble. Taking a deep breath, she rose from her crouched position and looked down at the snow, feeling the wind gently blow the locks of hair into her amber optics. Slowly, a cloud of breath came from her parted lips.
She said in a quieter voice, "I should be leaving. Gomen, Hinata-chan. It was nice meeting you, though I apologize once more under the conditions of which our introduction had to be made." As she turned in the snow, her eyes turned back over her shoulder to look at the girl once more. "By the way, my name's Miharu." As she began to walk away, something like tiger prints were left where she had walked. She was forced to keep her eyes forward, pondering over if she should return or not.
{ Gasp! now don't go acting like me... im a horrible influence ~weep~ Assuming you knew about that ...thing...😕 Which im pretty sure you did 😛 ah well. Ill still beat em up 😄 lol }
Hinata looked at her a bit forlornly. She sighed, and then nodded, understandingly.
" Allright. I understand. But be careful! and im sure you'll be able to find me if you change your mind! " She bowed again, then winced. Her arm stung.... She tried to play it off and looked up calmly at Ryu.
" Don't worry. Ill lead you there...i know my father won't mind you coming to the party." She said softly. Chances are he's gonna get wasted anyways. she thought with a blaitant sigh. He had changed so very, very much scince her mother's death. She looked away and sqeezed her injured arm to release the memories flooding her mind, like a swarm of infectious insects.
Oh yea!! On that matter...
She looked off for a moment. Shino and Kiba and had agreed to help her cook for the party. She giggled imagining Kiba, Shino, and her father trying to cook a christmas partie's dinner. She could practically hear Akamaru begging for scraps, and Her father scolding Kiba for allowing him to take them.
" We'd betetr get home..i should dress this would before i catch pnuemonia out here.." She grinned and motioned for him to follow as she made her way back.
"ok, i don't know anyone so i'll help anyway i can instead, if thats ok i mean" Ryu said and followed Hinata "do you have any siblings?" Ryu asked watching miharu walk away thinking about how strange she acted when they offered to help her then decided it was probally something to do with her ego which he was learning how to not let the ego control himself when his sensai died, "everyone in my family's dead, i never even got to meet them, but sensai was like a brother, he was my best friend" Ryu thought
Loneliness had affected him for way too long.
Sitting on top of Sunagakure's ninja academy, Sabaku No Gaara was entranced by the moon's glowing light. The giant star in the sky used to captivate him when he was a child. After finishing his schoolwork, Gaara would sit on his windowsill and watch the Moon rise up to greet him. It was his only real friend when he was a child. And often he'd find himself talking to it. He'd ask it questions even though he knew it would never answer back to him. But everyone needed someone to talk to. Gaara's old teddy bear and the moon were the only things in the world that could have tolerated him...
He remembered when he asked Yashamaru, his uncle, what the moon was.
**"Yashamaru?...what is the moon?" the young Gaara had asked his caretaker. He looked up at his uncles scraggely blonde hair, through his big round innocent eyes. Yashamaru had looked down at his nephew and patted him on the head. "You sure ask alot of questions Gaara-sama." He said smiling. Gaara smiled back. Back when he thought Yashamaru really cared for him, Gaara always loved Yashamaru...he was more of a friend then both the moon and his teddy.
"How should I put this?...Well no one really knows what the moon is. Many people seem to have their own interpretations of it." His hands reached out and touched the window, seeming to long for the moon. "But my sister-your mom- and I always used to think of it this way." He bent down and held Gaara's shoulder. "The moon is the light of everyone's dreams. It's dependable, and will always be there. Continue to dream, and the moon will grow brightly for you." He stood and looked out to the moon, Gaara's eyes following his. "I think the moon glows brightest when you are watching it Gaara-Sama." Yashamaru said smiling. ***
Gaara realized now that the moon didn't really glow brighter when he was looking at it. At least it didn't seem like it anymore. The moon and he were old friends. While the world slept, Gaara always stayed awake. A sand insomniac, his only companion during his long hours awake was the moon. He rarely talked to even the moon now, but things in Gaara's life were beginning to grow different. His siblings were no longer worthless beings to him, they were his family. The young children in the academy even admired Gaara's courage now, frequently asking him to play games with them. Gaara remembered he never was asked to participate with the other children. He was left on his swing, alone, while the other children exchanged nervous looks at him. His life was turning around, and it was all thanks to Uzumaki Naruto. He was even invited to a christmas party...
Gaara stood from his perch, and his thoughts dwelled on the happy shinobi in Konohagakure. Thinking to himself, he realized that not everyone in Konoha liked him...alot of them were afraid of him still...
Gaara wasn't going to go to the party.
" You'll meet alot of new people." She smiled and paused. " I have a cousin..." She gazed off. They really were gonna be ok. Now being around him, she had noticed, she felt a safe, comforting warmth. She knew he would be there when her fther wasn't himself, or someone was mean to her.
" Yes.. i have a wonderful cousin." She added. She then shook her head.
" Im so sorry.." her eyes narrowed simpathetically.
