Temari walked around the town, which was almost deserted. She went to the ninja academy, and saw Gaara. She jumped onto the roof with him and sat beside him.

"Your not going to the party?" she asked gazing at the moon with him. "Who knows, maybe you'll meet new people" she trailed off...
She look at her younger brother, who was still gazing at the moon. She looked back down and waited for the reply. She didn't expect him to go. She just wanted him to become more social.

Gaara didn't even look over towards his older sister. He kept his eyes on the big glowing moon in front of him, and the stars all around the dark sky that engulfed them. Gaara knew that Temari realized he wouldn't go to the party. He thought it was stupid that she was even going to attempt to convince him. That kind of act would have caused the old Gaara to snap into a state of bloodlust, but not anymore. Deep down he appreciated his sisters concern for his own well-being. He met her eyes briefly, then turned back at the moon, his red-brownish hair splashing in his eyes.

"Temari...that time we fought Konoha, Uzumaki Naruto convinced me of something. He convinced me that even though we hold monsters, we are not completely alone. Because of that boys spirit, I was able to change myself. But no...I can't go to that party. But you can." He turned to her again. "You and Kankuro can go. You have many friends there. Visit the lazy ninja, and Kankuro can speak with Inuzuka Kiba, and Aburame Shino." He stood and started to walk away from her.

"Say hello to Naruto for me. And if you see him, the boy I fought during the examinations. Rock Lee."

------------------------------------------------------------

Neji crossed his arms. He was distrusting of Hinata and this boy. Hinata was shy, and was a responsible girl. This new guy however...what were his intentions?

He turned to the boy. "Impressive jutsu" He said pointing outside and towards the icy slide. "Something you came up with on your own?" He asked lifting an eyebrow. Turning back towards Hinata, Neji spoke up again "What happened to Naruto?" He asked quizzingly. Then he was a bit embarrased, realizing he might have made his cousin uncomfortable.

In a bit of an awkward moment, Neji started backing up. He began making an excuse to leave the two alone, stuttering "Well uh...I'll just let you two um....I'll be with Kiba." He turned to leave. Then turned back. Maybe he shouldn't leave the two of them alone. Hinata was practically a younger sister to him now. He crossed his arms accusingly, and pointed to the boy "How long does he plan on staying here in our home?"

Hinata's face reddened instantly, and her large violet eyes burned slightly. " N...Naruto..?" She held her hands to her face attempting to cover for the embarrasment she felt. " Theres nothing going on heer.." she said in a half whisper. Her whole body was taught as she struggled to hide her emotions.

" I don't know how long he's staying...im gonna go help make the rice balls, im ..im sure they are having trouble,,so..b..bye!" That being said she darted back to her house, shutting the door hard behind her. Her father and kiba looked out from the kitchen.

" You alright? "
" Im fine...just fine. " She forced a smile and moved into the kitchen, letting herself relax. A giggle escaped from her throat.
" You look nice in aprons. "
She approached the table and helped kiba mix in rice and dehydrated milk. She hoped she had'nt left Neji in an akward position.

"Umm..." Neji stared at the door as Hinata excused herself from the two boys. He looked back at the other shinobi in the room. "Uh...so what exactly were you two doing?" He asked accusingly, assuming the role of the overprotective relative. It was strange that Hinata was inviting this strange boy into Touka's room alone, considering she was so enfatuated with Naruto.

Neji knew that Hinata had never told anyone about her feelings. As far as he knew, only Himself, Shino and Kiba were aware of her romantic feelings. Kiba and Shino had found out simply from being around her so much, whereas Neji had recently found out her feelings during the long hours of training with Hiashi-sama. He crossed his arms. Hinata wasn't the kind of girl to invite anyone up here. He smiled. She must have been telling the truth. Being the nice person that Hinata is, she clearly invited this boy up here for a place to stay, and some food to eat. He put his arms in his robes and left the boy alone, heading for the room of the party. Shino was probably in there alone, so he'd probably need some help.

--------------------------------------------

A huge sigh escaped his lips as Nara Shikamaru made his way through the forest. He wanted to go home, but on his way to his house he bumped into his female teammate Ino. She had requested that he find Chouji for her, apparentely it was important. When Shikamaru told her to find him herself, he received a lecture about how boys should do everything for girls, since they were "Angels" or something or other - He wasn't really listening.

So the snow crunched under his dark blue snowboots, the shade of the trees making the weather even colder. Chouji wasn't at his house, so he must be at team 10's training area in the woods. Their own little private training clearing was next to a small brook in the woods. He had been walking for several minutes, when he saw strange markings in the ground. Scratches, and broken branches were enveloped in this small area of the woods - evidence a fight must have broken out. Using his shinobi arts, Shikamaru could feel the murderous intent, overused chakra, and the footprints of 3 different people, 2 of which seemed to evaporate right out of thin air, while the other trudged off deeper into the woods. Had he the energy - which he never did - Shikamaru would have checked out the disturbance, but like always...it was troublesome. He headed out more towards the brook, calling out Chouji's name.

"I hope he wasn't one of those fighters." Shikamaru thought out loud. "otherwise things might get a bit bothersome."

She let a sigh escape her lips and she stood up and jumped off the roof. Walking home her brothers words went through her mind.

*Uzumaki Naruto convinced me of something. He convinced me that even though we hold monsters, we are not completely alone. Because of that boys spirit, I was able to change myself. *At least he's trying...* she told herself opening the door and taking off her shoes.

"well i gotta go, pick up the last of my things," Ryu said as the water flew out the window and turned to snow and then Ryu left grabbing nothing. Ryu started running as another trail of ice was created from Ryu's hand and he headed for the forest which both protected and hid the village and when he reached the forest he lept from tree branch to tree branch until he came to a lake deep in the forest and a small wooden house and a small shack next to it. Ryu entered the small shack which cotained armors and weapons of all kinds (except guns, bombs, etc.) he grabbed two pairs of armour and put them in a bag he grabbed scrolls, hundreds of shuriekan and kunai, 5 swords, knifes, triple bladded dagger (i'll show you guys the picture), propper ninja shoes called tabbies which are like a sock with a soul on it that seperated the big toe from the rest, and packed them into a bag them left the shack then he went into the house and grabbed more scrolls 1 sword and many clothes, another backpack already full and a skateboard and put them into a different bag. he put the two bag outside away from the hut and started a fire in the fireplace, grabbed a log a torch that was hanging above the fireplace, lit it and then went into the the master bedroom where a body laid on the bed dead for atleast 3 days he lit the bed on fire "goodbye sensai, you were like a father to me" Ryu said leaving the room lighting numerous things on fire as he left the room then light his bedroom on fire and then the living room/kitchen and went outside and watched it burn to a pile of ashes then the whole lake formed a big wave a splashed over the house as he left with the two bags the size of huge hockey back he jumped from tree to tree back to the village then ran back to the hyoga compound "i will start a new life, there is no turning back now" Ryu said to himself running through the crowd weaving inbetween every person until he got back to the compound and walked back to the house ~that is one of the two pairs of armour minus the helmet~

~i know... then forget that part of the post 😄 ~

Ryu walked out of the house after he finished unpacking and walked around the compound and then knocked on the door of the place hinata went into

after standing there for about 10 minutes ryu just went in

Hinata looked over at the door, her liquid eyes widening. She was still a slight bit shaken from before.
" Hey..d..do you need something? Where did Neji go?"
Her voice dripped with a bit of concern. She hoped that Neji wasn't angry with her...that was the last hing she wanted. Then she remembered his present was still upstairs in the little bag she had tied together. A smile crossed her face when she thought of giving all her gifts out. She wondered if Naruto would enjoy his...she had spent more then she planned on the moon stone neckalace. It was worth it though. She then realised she was getting embarrassed. Shino suddenly poked his head out of the kitchen.
" Who's he? "
" Eh? Oh! this is Ryu! He's staying in Touka san's house for the time being. "
" Oh. Well hey Ryu, If your gonna stand there then how bout helping us cook? Now theres an idea. " Shino said steppin gback into the kitchen.

"I got everyone something special for Christmas." Sakura began "but your just going to have to wait to see what it is, just like everyone else!"

Naruto's eyes became small tiny black dots. His smile contorted into a thin black line as he realized his mistake.

"....presents?" He thought to himself. He had forgotten that little detail. What would everyone do if he was the only one that didn't give presents? Shikamaru probably wouldn't care...Sasuke probably wouldn't even wanna go...but Sakura... He touched his cheek, wincing as he realized if he didn't get her anything, HIS present would be a knuckle-sandwich.

He brushed the newly fallen snow from his hair as he was about to ask Sakura if they could "Share" her presents. That would probably earn him a blackeye too - he didn't care what people said, of all the genin in Konoha, Sakura hits hardest. He turned away from her.

"Eh...Sakura-chan...I'll...I'll be right back!" He said and began to run off. When he was a good distance away, he turned into one of Konoha's alleyways and pulled out his green frog purse...he opened it up...nothing.

"Great...Ero-Sannin needs to stop heckling me for money. His "research" is really annoying!"

(Okay! Kankuro is offically back<3)

Kankuro sighed, he just finished reinstalling Karasu's poison knives, as well as the poison-gas bombs. He wiped sweat that was running down his forehead and sighed. He turned and looked out at the night sky from a nearby window. He opened the door, and heard Gaara say something about not going to a party, which was expected of him. Kankuro then spotted Temari walking away from Gaara. He approached her, "Gaara can be such an ass sometimes... though he doesn't show it. On to a different matter, what's this party that Gaara said he "wasn't going to", and where is this being held. Oh and by the way, Happy Holidays... I'm pretty sure Gaara never said that... heh, as expected." He repeated, a grin on his face.

(yay a kankuro! ^^)
Temari spotted Kankuro approaching her.

"I he can be at times...." she said in a way that sounded nervous that he might hear them. "But we shouldn't talk about our own brother like that, plus he might hear us" she said in a whisper."It's a christmas party at Hyuuga Hinata's house. You going to go?" she asked while walking back with him.

Dreams of His Crash, Won't Pass

"Mi-chan, Mi-chan. Wake up, Mi-chan..."
"I.. It's you."
"How kind of you to notice, Mimi."
"How many times have I told you I hate it when you call me that."
"Yes, but that's never stopped me before."
"I missed you so much. I thought I'd never see you again."
"And I have missed you. I cannot express how agonizing it is being away from you. But we will be together. We will."
"Hai. I swear upon my very heart I will make it come true. No matter what."
"I enjoyed see you again, Mi-chan. S... Sayonara."
"No. Don't leave me alone!"
"You are never alone, my aijin. I will always be with you..."
"Please. I can't live without you! Please don't leave me. Please! Ai... AISHITE IRU!!!"

Gasping, she jerked up from the ground. Her mind was foggy and her heart felt torn apart. She'd had that dream for many, many nights now. It was almost becoming so regular that she expected to see his face. Shaking her head once more to clear her thoughts, she padded at her chest. No sign of her wound was left, the tora had taken well care of that. It was strange though. Each time the healing process went to work, in order to save her life, she was knocked out cold. This time, it was quite literal as she stood up, shivering from the snow she'd used for a bed.

Her eyes felt cloudly and were crusted with sleep. Wiping away the gunk from her optics, she once more felt the familiar touch of tears slipping along her fingers. Why did he come to her, if he was just going to leave in the end and... break her heart... She whimpered softly when she felt something digging into her breast. Reaching into her torn yukata, she pulled out a rose. It's thorns were digging into the soft flesh of her chest, dried blood clinging to the greenery of the natural daggers.

She snarled and tossed the rose in the air. Throwing some snow upwards, ice shards struck it and made each petal in turn float gracefully to the icy ground below. Her eyes were as cold as if she had been sent nude into a blizzard. She knew her "partner's" trickery. The rose had always been his favorite. She slowly began to walk away from the woods and into the open, smiling as the girl's house neared. Hinata. That girl seemed so odd. She was helpless, but strong. She could do so much with her life, but instead she was hiding behind those ivory coated orbs of hers. Why? She had great power. Her chakra levels were high enough to rival even the top ninjas at her vil... at a village.

She stopped short as she felt the energies of that male shinobi. Spitting into the snow with disgust, she turned on her heel, and headed in the other direction. She had no time for amatuers, especially one who obviously couldn't stand on his own two feet. Then, she felt something else. Chakra matching Hinata's, yet slightly advanced, stronger, yes, but it seemed as if it was crackling, like lightning. She turned to look towards the home. A winter breeze struck her hair, pulling each strand in front of her face.

Deciding a hiding jutsu was only a waste of her energy, she stalked closer and closer. Her body moved like liquid, one step being placed in front of the other with such a delicate touch one would think she was water itself. As she reached the home, she sought out the chakra levels she had sensed earlier. It was coming from inside the shelter. She sighed, there would be no point in breaking in just to quench her curiousity. Slowly, she moved towards the door. She prepared to knock, but stopped. What was she doing? She didn't belong here...

Moving back, she stopped and looked upwards at the roof. Launching herself in an easy leap, she managed to land upon the wooden surface, clutching onto one of the rough shangles with her strong digits. She peeked into one of the windows. Her hand reached to the side and attracted ice into her palm. It formed a type of knife. Carefully, and with the most acute sense of caution, she carved out a hole, just large enough for her hand to slip through. As she moved to pull it out, her dampened fingers slipped and the glass tumbled downwards, shattering as it struck the floor beneath her. She winced at the sharp sound and took one final look at the room. Inside, there appeared to be a package (since it's clearly Hinata's room she's sneaking into). Her expression saddened slightly, but vanished as she leapt onto the chimney. Though the smoke made her eyes water, it provided her with just enough of a blanket to make her jutsu weak but effective. And with the wave of her hand, she was gone. Or so she appeared to be.

------------

"Strange..." Neji thought to himself looking around. He had just left Touka's house, and he thought he heard some strange noise from somewhere nearby. It sounded something like glass, but that wasn't what was bothering him.

Neji felt the strange murderous intent approach the Hyuuga compound. Chakra flickered through Neji's senses, but it wasn't enough for him to want to turn on the Byakugan - his kekkei genkai. He looked around. It wasn't exactly murderous as it was....confused.. or depressed and sad. Neji had the uncanny ability to feel what someone else was feeling...to know what they were thinking. But this sensation was strange. A friendly..murderer?

Perhaps he should go back to the kitchen where Kiba and the others were working. He closed his eyes...his pale white pupils closing over his dead lavender eyes. He felt the snow around him...he felt the familiar air of Konohagakure, but something still troubled him. Maybe that chakra was that of the strange boy that was with Hinata. But something was making him think otherwise. That chakra could be handled...it was secondrate compared to this. He'd have to check it out.

"BYAKUGAN!" He said, his temples tightening with his bloodline limit. He searched the connecting homes of himself, Touka and Hinata.

"Shino...Hiashi...Hinata...Kiba...." He scanned the chakra circulatory systems of each of the occupants. Then, with his strange vision, he saw a cloud of chakra...concealing something. That was what it was. Normally he'd be compelled into fighting mode, but this chakra was different from the violent shinobis he'd encounter on missions, and in enemy territory. He turned the Byakugan off and stared in its direction. Would he go?

--------------------------------------------

Gaara smirked as he heard his older brothers remark about him being an "ass." He turned back towards the moon. "That Kankuro is one colorful character." he thought to himself. Apart from their jokes and comments, Gaara knew that they understood why he held back from socialization. He wasn't like Uzumaki Naruto. He wasn't the life of the party. Gaara held an air of fear around him - which he understood. His previous life as a bloodthirsty demon shinobi was enough to cause everyone to hate him.

Now however, he didn't stay away from the party because he didn't want to socialize. Didn't stay away from his....friends because he hated everyone. He stayed his distance for their safety. Unlike Uzumaki Naruto, Gaara had a demon inside him that was willing to kill. That could overpower Gaara's consciousness...and drive him to do things against his will.

Before, when Gaara gave in to the Shukaku, it was easy to keep his personality on the surface, while the demon lay inside. But now...now the Shukaku realized that Gaara was changing.

The Shukaku didn't like that.

The demon within Gaara's body wanted him to murder. It was getting more and more difficult for Gaara to control the random outbursts of extreme headaches, and the voices inside his head that spurred him on to murder... to kill everything in sight. If he had gone to the party, he might risk the Shukaku become overexcited from all of the people to kill, and it might get out. He didn't want to hurt his friends anymore. He wondered if Naruto realized that. As much as he and Naruto were similar, they were vastly different.

..if only there was another person going through the hellish nightmare that Gaara was going through.....

Meanwhile in konoha..that person was sneaking around the Hyuuga compound.....

"sure i happen to be a amazing cook" Ryu said walking into the kitchen but then stopped halfway sensing the familar chakra from earlier then turned around and walked to hinata and whispered "she's here, be ongaurd" into hinata's ear then walked into the kitchen "so what are we making?" Ryu asked checking everything and turned the burners off that were boiling water ~if there was any~

Hinata opened her mouth to answer his question, but slowly closed it. Her eyes would close docilely before she took a few steps forward. Every ounce of chakra in her body told her something was not right...on top of that, she could sense Neji's byakugaan.

" I'll be back!"

She trotted out into the fresh snow, her footsteps creatng a satisfying crunch as she moved. A sharp breath was drawn into her thin mouth when she realized what was causing the slight disorder....the chakra she sensed was familiar, but infamiliar at the same time. It was hostile.
Oh! The girl! It's her, i know it...but why is she....? oh no..
Hinata ran forward, each breath she took creatnig a new cloud of smokey moisture in the air. Neji was nearby now...she should find him.

Quietly she continued on. She was near the edge of the Hyuga compound when the chakra she sensed was at it's strongest. Hinata took nervous step forward, and bit her lip as she tried to remember the name the girl had given her. Finally her mind cooperated with her, and migrated to her lips.

" Miharu?! Are you out there? Are you alright?!" She said, almost to quietly. Her voice was but a mere whisper against the harsh winter wind.

Hey Miss Murder

::WHOOPS!! Sorry Tech. I didn't see your post until I posted. I have to edit but it shouldn't take too long!::

She felt it. Chakra levels that seemed to run neck-and-neck with her own. She cursed herself for shattering the glass. It had been such a foolish mistake. She would need to concentrate as hard as she could. This figure was someone to be wary of, not like the boy she had run into before. If a fight was going to break out, at least this one was going to keep it interesting for her.

She closed her eyes and felt the pulse of her heart. She could feel the chakra rushing into her veins and arteries, being companions for the blood cells that would forever linger in her corpse. Corpse. What a delightful way of describing her body. She had lost her heart, and her soul meant nothing to her, so what else to call it? Corpse suited her just fine. It was a way of actually putting herself down. In the darkness constructed by the locking of her lids, she could see him. Lying there, lifeless, buried deep under ground. Why hadn't she joined him? Why wasn't it her in that grave? But then, there was always the hope of her lover still being alive. Still being well and strong...

As the chakra suddenly increased, she realized she had once again grown careless. The figure was approaching her and she had failed to notice. If she didn't smarten up she would end up making a fatal mistake. Not that she hadn't made one already. As she peered out from the smoke, snow, and bits of ice, she spotted the figure. It was another boy. His eyes were matching that of the Hinata girl's. That same white coloring that seemed to match the snow beneath her. His hair was long, but looked well-kept, unlike most who grew out there hair and made it into a rat's nest. She had to look twice around his orbs, however. Creases around his temples, clearly formed by his veins, bulged outward. Perhaps this really would be fun after all.

Then, she noticed him halt. She felt slightly disappointed. A fight was always welcomed to her, and with this opponent it would be one that she would definately not pass up. She blinked for a moment before tensing the calves of her legs. Her muscles bulged out from her flesh. Well, perhaps bulge isn't the word. It made her sound rather insanely muscles. More like popped. Yes, popped is a proper description. As her muscles bunched like a cat's, she prepared to leap off of the chimney to approach this new shinobi. Then a voice made her stop dead in her tracks.

"Miharu?! Are you out there? Are you alright?!"

She turned her eyes to see Hinata. If that girl had not called to her, she would've thought it was an attack. Baka onna... she thought. She glanced down at the boy that shared her eyes, and then back to the girl who had the same. They had to be related. No one could just acquire eyes like that randomly. Clearly they had been given them by their parents. Sweeping her hand over the smoke and swirling snow, she cleared her cover and leapt into view onto the roof. She looked dirty and tired, as one would say, "cooked like a rat" from the smoke splotches on her flesh and clothing. She turned then to Hinata and spoke in a calm voice. "Hai. I am fine. I apologize for my unexcused arrival, Hinata-chan. I had to... check some things out." She glanced at the male for a moment, before her eyes returned to the girl. She sat down on the roof, rather casually as she leaned against the chimney, pretending to have no interest in either of them.
