Temari walked around the town, which was almost deserted. She went to the ninja academy, and saw Gaara. She jumped onto the roof with him and sat beside him."Your not going to the party?" she asked gazing at the moon with him. "Who knows, maybe you'll meet new people" she trailed off...
She look at her younger brother, who was still gazing at the moon. She looked back down and waited for the reply. She didn't expect him to go. She just wanted him to become more social.
Gaara didn't even look over towards his older sister. He kept his eyes on the big glowing moon in front of him, and the stars all around the dark sky that engulfed them. Gaara knew that Temari realized he wouldn't go to the party. He thought it was stupid that she was even going to attempt to convince him. That kind of act would have caused the old Gaara to snap into a state of bloodlust, but not anymore. Deep down he appreciated his sisters concern for his own well-being. He met her eyes briefly, then turned back at the moon, his red-brownish hair splashing in his eyes.
"Temari...that time we fought Konoha, Uzumaki Naruto convinced me of something. He convinced me that even though we hold monsters, we are not completely alone. Because of that boys spirit, I was able to change myself. But no...I can't go to that party. But you can." He turned to her again. "You and Kankuro can go. You have many friends there. Visit the lazy ninja, and Kankuro can speak with Inuzuka Kiba, and Aburame Shino." He stood and started to walk away from her.
"Say hello to Naruto for me. And if you see him, the boy I fought during the examinations. Rock Lee."

Neji crossed his arms. He was distrusting of Hinata and this boy. Hinata was shy, and was a responsible girl. This new guy however...what were his intentions?
He turned to the boy. "Impressive jutsu" He said pointing outside and towards the icy slide. "Something you came up with on your own?" He asked lifting an eyebrow. Turning back towards Hinata, Neji spoke up again "What happened to Naruto?" He asked quizzingly. Then he was a bit embarrased, realizing he might have made his cousin uncomfortable.
In a bit of an awkward moment, Neji started backing up. He began making an excuse to leave the two alone, stuttering "Well uh...I'll just let you two um....I'll be with Kiba." He turned to leave. Then turned back. Maybe he shouldn't leave the two of them alone. Hinata was practically a younger sister to him now. He crossed his arms accusingly, and pointed to the boy "How long does he plan on staying here in our home?"
