i keep my 12 guage locked and cocked under my bed. FJ knows not to touch it and we never have kids in our house. i also have a .45 longslide pistol that i carry in my truck whereever i go. i have to keep it unloaded, of course, due to certain laws here in texas, but the magazine is always within reach. soon, when i get my concealed weapons permit, i will carry it in a pancake holster.

again, i dont have them to be a badass, i have them for protection. when someone tells you face to face "i am gonna kill you", your ass will definitely be armed. why did they tell me this? well, it was at work, someone i had to call the police on. i dont think they are serious, but you never know.

I went clay pidgeon shooting and used a shotgun. It was a bit sore on the shoulder. The guy who was teaching us gave us a 5 minute lecture on the dangers of leaving a loaded shotgun lying around on the ground. Then he sat down and removed his artificial leg to prove his point.

Personally, I don't like guns...I have a strong despising towards them. I would only get one for like protection or safety purposes..but all power to you all that like them.

Gun I want to fire most is a silenced M41 Maverick.

when someone threatens your life and you know they have a gun, you will be armed quicker than shit. its not about growing balls, its common sense. i hope to god i am never forced to use them for protection, but i will in a heartbeat.

it was a couple months ago I was visting my parents and they own this pellet gun to scare off little animals and young children 😄 and I didn't know it was unlocked and loaded so I sqeazed the trigger and it rikoshayd everywhere (ok I don't know how to spell that word sue me) and my mom looked at me like I was on crack...but I aint...I swear

Ridah, i agree with you partially when you said guns are for the weak. when someone threatens you with a gun and you are unarmed, that is the epitome of weakness. however, when this happens, and you arm yourself in case this person might not be full of crap, that is not weakness, that is just being prepared. hopefully i will never have to draw down on someone. if i had to shoot someone who was shooting at me or threatening me with a gun, i would regret it every day for the rest of my life. as far as safety goes, i know all about being safe. if my sis comes over with my nephew, i put them in an inaccessible place. i dont leave them laying around like an idiot. i have seen some people leave their loaded guns in the weirdest places. a cop buddy of mine, when off duty, just throws his gun in the back of his car. this is a cop!!!

an 8mm? never heard of an 8 mm. when i was choosong which pistol i would take, i had to choose from about a dozen of them.
