Are people who take illegal drugs, stupid?

alcohol causes a crash but doesn't kill the man same thing different tool in the job.......

Anyway AC I'm talking more about legal ramifications.........get caught with a 12 pack of beer sitting on your porch.....no get caught with a quarter ounce smoking on your doorstep what happens

Yeah, I don't really care what you're talking about because it's irrelevant.

Weed doesn't kill, which was my original point countering YOUR point of how illegal drugs have higher consequence. Weed is illegal, it's never killed. End of story. A man driving a car under any influence, crashing it, will possibly die. The weed didn't kill him.

weed isn't the only illegal drug....some of the more potent stuff will kill...hence the stupidity of regularly using them

In answer to the question, no.

He said illegal drugs have heavier consequences, despite cigarettes and alcohol killing nearly as much if not more than all illegal drugs.

Weed, an illegal drug, has never killed. Sorta vapourises his point really.

Using drugs regularly isn't stupidity, at least not as black and white as that.

Give us your opinion.

No, alot of smart people use drugs. But if someone uses it as if it were "the shit", than person must be dumb

it also depends on what we're considering consequences...if we consider the ruination of a life as part consequence, then illegal drugs do have far worse consequences...
BTW, excessively using alcohol would also be dumb...but so would eating 2000 ho hos....moderation, people

Ruination of life quality is a situation attached to drug use of any kind and as time goes on it becomes more and more outlandish.

Love that stuff...

well to the thread starter, I personaly think its an awefully stupit act, in most cases ppl gain nothing by doing drugs, then again we all do stupit acts now and then.

Stupid acts?

That isn't the point.

Bottom line, if it isn't your body....you have NO say in the matter

I think that most people look outside of them selves for something that they feel they don't have. Drugs are a way to change your point of view and feel better about yourself. However, you don't need them to make this kind of change. All you need is to look inside and find the way... hay! man give me that joint, I'm starting to loose it. 😆 jk

'Names' begin with capitals letters and his name is 'Norman', not 'Stupid'.

Yes and no.

They may be trying to look cool or fit in. That's stupid.
They may also be on the verge of suicide, desperate to dull their pain. That's saddening.

Shaky, you know I respect you...highly.

however, drugs...at least in my experience...haven't changed my opinion of myself...as much as it has my ability to SHARE that opinion.

My point: right and wrong are subjective....

And while wrong has it's ability t effect other people...those are the rare circumstances....

My proclivity for smoking pot, has NEVER effected anyone else. The "it's illegal" agrument is why my mother hates pot... But, that's also why she's never done it. I might have aneed to escape...but as long as it hurts no one else...it isn't their issue.

Oh, and one person cannot be classed as 'people'.

Welcome.

Here's how you should have worded the question:

Is Norman taking illegal drugs?

or;

Are people who take illegal drugs called 'Norman'?

or maybe you are asking Norman:

Is a person taking illegal drugs, Norman?
