Of course a lot of people, and it is known, die from Tobacco and Alcohol related diseases. So whats the fuss with taking Cocaine ? or Marijuana ? or ant other drug considered illegal ?

Make them legal and that will avoid drug dealers and pushers mixing all the highly toxoc chemicals contanimating the drug.

Native Colombians chew Coca leaves and they live till old age. They dont die out of chewing coca leaves. Even Opium is smoked in Asia and it doesnt kill or to much damage as Alcohol or Tobacco does in Western countries. What kills is the concoxian of the additives.

Chewing coca leaves is not nearly equivalent to using cocaine. It's an extremely weak concentration of the chemical. Nor can you compare opium to heroin in the same way you can compare coca leaves to cocaine. Opium is itself highly addictive and has the same risks as smoking tobacco or anything else... It also literally destroyed China when it was introduced and a third of the population got addicted and dropped out of society.

That said, however, nicotine itself is much more dangerous than most people realize. Apparently 15 mg of pure nicotine will kill you. A lethal dose of arsenic is about 200 mg. So personally I think smoking marijuana is safer than smoking tobacco, even considering the risk of cancer and emphysema. Marijuana is less (physically) addictive than nicotine and less toxic.

Anyways, I think some drugs are dangerous enough to make anyone who uses them stupid. Meth, heroin, and cocaine come to mind. I've always considered tobacco smoking stupid—%u2014doesn't really even do anything but get you addicted. At least marijuana makes you feel good, right? 😄

Generally, the answer is no.

People have a choice. When they choose to use drugs, then yes they are stupid. If they stay on that road, choice can eventually fade away and they develop addiction.

To answer the question of the topic at hand:

Its Stupid to allow a drug to determine the way you live.
Its Stupid to allow a substance to take hold of your finances.

Its not stupid to use drugs for recreational purposes.

Recreational purposes...

Lol.

Aside from alcohol, using any form of illegal susbstance is stupid.

Possibly, but i can vouch for few people that paranoia and aggressiveness are not one of the symptoms.

Errr...

Not that alcohol is an illegal substance. Drugs not issued by medical orders is more what I meant.

Recreational drug use is fine by me, as long as it doesn't adversely affect the rest of your life, i.e. work, relationships, wellbeing, etc.

Difficult to achieve, but not impossible.

I know a lot of drug users, a lot. None have suffered their lives being ruined etc.

A man walks into a bar and says to the bartender, "I bet you fifty dollars that I can bite my right eye." The bartender says, "Yeah, right! I've never seen anyone do that!" So the man takes out his glass eye and bites it.

The angry bartender pays the man his fifty dollars and the man walks away. He comes back half an hour later and says, "I bet you fifty dollars I can bite my left eye." Now the bartender becomes really skeptical. She says, "I just saw you walk in here -- you can't be blind!" So he takes out his fake teeth and bites his left eye. The bartender pays him his money and he walks away.

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist....

Impossible enough to not be considered an option and anyone who does it should be arrested..

He was saying that it's possible to live without drugs ruining your life.

Not too sure you grasped that.

And SpellJammer said the likelyhood is very small, so small the risk should not be taken legaly to accept it.

Not too sure you grasped that.

detective The clues lead to, that Spelljamma used reverse psychology
