Nope, if you read the series they were ahead of their time. They dealt with AIDS, homosexuality, rape, mutant registration, and various other topics other series wouldn't touch years after they did it. Their underated power-wise and in their stories.

She can control any spirit, but there was a huge debate if she could control the Spectre or not. It's not known if she can or not, she has been shown to control skyfather level beings just because they were from the spirit world. She's uber.

I beleive she can control an host-less Spectre, can she seperate him from his host.
