Anyways, it is amazing that this thread is still going on. The Hulk is simply not a match for Superman .....it is actually a tad bit ludicrous to have them on the same billing.

Seriously .....you are putting a person whose main offensive arsenal is strength (and nothing else, and thus severely uni-dimensional) against someone who is one of the most omni-dimensional characters in comics!

It is actually funny.

This is how Superman can lose (note: He has to do all of them for it to work):

1) He (Superman) decides to provoke the Hulk for a considerable period of time so as to let the Hulk's anger reach a crescendo
2) He decides to not fly.
3) Decides to not use any of his speed
4) Decides not to use any of his superior sensory perceptions (which could make him actually fight the Hulk blindfolded, and win, since he could keep tabs on the Green One easily using anything ranging from superhearing to feeling air-pressure shunts)
5) Decides not to use any of his offensive array of options
6) Decides to just stand there and let the Hulk pound on him
7) Decides to operate at a level of intellect that is equal to that of the Hulk (i.e he decides to act as stupid as the Hulk is when he is really mad)

Do all of those things and then the Hulk has a chance.

BUT, under KMC rules (with both characters doing their best), Superman wins 10/10 .....everytime.
Goodness, as someone else posted this is a thread pitting the Hulk against a character with the strength of a REALLY pissed off Hulk, with speed approaching Flash level, one of the top most invulnerabilities, top level flight, and more offensive capability than most X-men teamups!

Goodness. This IS a spite thread .....the Hulk fans just don't know that it is. And that is probably the most ironic (and seriously hilarious) aspect of this thread. For a host of logical reasons this is a spite thread, but the Hulk fans just don't realize that.

i know you're just a kid, and nothing me or anyone else says will change your mind, but try to understand -- in the forum a character uses ALL their powers to the fullest to win a fight. how they fight in a comicbook doesn't matter. so that means that just because the writers wanted the fight to LOOK good so they had supes go toe-to-toe with hulk using nothing but strength, does NOT mean that's how the fight would go in this forum.

You mentioned something that I finally realized some days ago ....I always knew it, but it really impacted a couple of days ago.
Many people here ARE kids ....literally, and it is easy to perceive this from a whole host of factors (ranging from atrophied logic and incoherence of thought ...actually a better term in their case is undeveloped logical sense, since they are not old enough to have experienced any sort of atrophy ....as well as more mundane things like a serious lack of spelling - even basic spelling).

Many of the 'fanboys' may actually not be fanboys (proper) but more likely 6th graders who received a Wolverine comic for Easter or watched the Hulk movie ( 😘 ) over the weekend and thus really got passionate about the character (hmmm .....actually that seems like a fanboy all the same).

Maybe if it were Animated Hulk vs Animated Superman, this would be a better fight, but even then Hulk is gonna lose. Maybe if it were current Superman who isn't using his powers at all.

i've actually preached that idea for a while now. 🙂 it's why i try so desperately NOT to get into insults and flaming as so often happens. i've said it before -- some people on here really and truly just DO NOT understand the characters. what use insulting and telling some 5th grader that he's a moron? maybe he's not a moron, but rather just not mature enough to acknowledge he was wrong about something, or hasn't seen enough to really understand what's happening.

Okay why the hell is this going on still? Hulk fanboys keep saying that Hulk has got a degree of superspeed and that we shouldn't underestimate his quickness. His quickness is close to nothing compared to Superman who can go at LIGHT speeds. Just in case the Hulk fanboys want to know, the speed of light is 186,000 miles per SECOND and that is 669,600,000 miles per hour. At best, Hulk runs about 400mph. That means that Superman is 1,674,000 times faster than Hulk! 😱

Hulk fanboys are also seaming to mention that Superman rarely uses his powers in a fight. That he just goes into a fist fight with his opponents. They seriously need to start reading more Superman. Superman does not like to hurt anybody regardless of who they are or what they've done. He just fights hard enough to disable his opponent regularly. However, if Superman feels that he cannot win a fight based on pure fighting, then he will go and use his powers to his fullest degree. He just likes to test people before he risks killing them. Superman could actually kill Hulk in h2h anyways. Since this is bloodlusted Superman anyway, we won't have to worry about him using his powers to the fullest potential.

There is also the arguement that Superman is not as strong as Hulk. First of all, Hulk's base strength is WAY below Superman's. Hulk would seriously have to get pissed for HOURS straight to come close. Second of all, Hulk has never demonstrated the kind of strength that Superman has. While Hulk fanboys think that him lifting a 150 billion ton mountain is so cool, Superman is pulling the moon. Even Post-Crisis Superman is holding black holes IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND! Let's see: Holding a black hole in the palm of your hand and pulling the moon>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> lifting a mountain.

Hulk fanboys also have trouble understanding that Superman is just too damn versatile for Hulk to even survive this encounter for 10 seconds. While I believe Hulk's skin can withstand temperatures of up to 4000 degrees Celsius (I can't remember if it was Celsius or Fahrenheit. Correct me if I'm wrong.) Superman can make his heat vision incalcuably hot. Even scientists can't measure how hot his heat vision gets because it's just TOO DAMN HOT! Trust me, Superman has used his heat vision plenty in his encounters. Hulk would be burned to a crisp. He has also got ice breath which people seem to forget. Superman has easily frozen Wonder Woman with his ice breath when he didn't even want to deal with her. His ice breath is so grand, that it can freeze entire oceans. Superman also can vibrate his molecules intangible and invisible. Superman once again, has shown these feats numerous times.

In conclusion, to say that Hulk would win this fight is simply favoritism. There is absolutely no conceivable way that Hulk could win this fight. Like I was saying before, Superman wins 10/10.

He's right, though, that Superman is an overpowered moron written for the "OMG, Supers is teh kewlestest heroe in teh universe!!1!"- crowd. If Superman went all out, he would most certainly defeat the Hulk in some way. Just not with pure strength.
