Yes you can. The mind works MUCH differently than a room with lighting.Again, nothing but rage just means that Hulk's strength came even quicker. It wasn't that he felt a limited amount of rage, it was that he felt nothing ELSE (no happiness, no cockniess, no pride, etc). With no other emotions to focus on, all Hulk had to work with was rage, so it increased at a much greater rate than it normally would have.
You cant increase something when it has already consumed your mind. When something has completely overtaken your mind, to where your unable to feel any other emotion, how does it grow? it's not like your brain grows so how can the rage grow more than the mind can hold?
ok guys! The Hulk literally breaks the laws of physics, as he resists and overcomes an anti-matter/matter fusion bomb. Banner states, "A simple solution. And effective. Also impossible. We're dealing with cosmic forces here, Spider-Man. The attraction between those spheres is irresistible. The creator of the bomb agrees, and then goes on to say, "No power on Earth can arrest the process now!" As The Hulk proceeds to do the impossible, narration states, "It's a display of raw power that beggars the imagination. As a creature formed from the blast of one nuclear super-bomb struggles to keep another --infinitely greater --bomb from destroying the world whose people have feared and hounded him since his creation."

I was actually talking about Thor lifting the weight of the earth in the Midgard serpent, but OK.Can calculate that for me to please?
Assuming that the serpent had the same mass as the earth, and using the earth as our frame of reference in terms of weights then Thor lifted approximately 6,585,428,228,000,000,000,000 tons (US) assuming I did the calculations correct. Of course given the size of this number I'd tend to write off that feat as either PIS or hyperbole.

My bad

When Hulk's brain was changed, it wasn't made to be at 100% rage, it was just focused to shut out any other emotion. If you have rage and only rage on your mind, you're going to keep getting angrier and angrier; it's inevitable. You can't calm down because you don't have that control anymore, nor do you have anything else like happiness or pride to help you feel better about anything. Even Savage Hulk probably had some restraint over his emotions, which was probably why Jean felt the need to focus his mind on pure anger.
Even before his mind was altered, Hulk was easily angered. If you hit him, he'd get angrier. Call him stupid, he'd get angrier. Flip him off, he'd get even angrier. Mindless Hulk was just able to reach higher levels of strength at a faster pace; getting angrier and angrier without anything holding him back.

Your actually making my point for me. When you get so enraged to the point you can't even think speak or react to anything, then you can no longer become any more enraged because you can no longer think about being enraged. If all there is left in your mind is rage, when your mind is consumed by rage, you can no longer become any more enraged because there's nothing let to even anger you. The rest of your mind is gone, everything that kept your mind from completely being consumed is gone to where all you feel is rage, how can you get any angrier?
It's like the room and door with light and darkness. When the door is open, the room is filled with light. When you close the door it is completely filled with darkness. So how do you make the room darker if the room is already consumed by what your trying to make it increase?

you're talking about emotions, I mean he's a character with almost unlimited rage.
I know what you are trying to say, but let me put it like this.
I got a brother that has a little bit the same as hulk ( well not in strenght and stuff bit his emotions, wenn he's pissed)
It goes black in front of his eye's and he keeps hitting and hitting, you hit him he won't feel him untill ofcourse you hit him over the head with something. but one time he came home he was bruised up totally bruised up.
He was beat by 3 guy's with sticks, he went out of control again so he didn't even feel it untill ofcourse he calmed down he couldn't reall move much he was bleu all over. but at that point he was so pissed didn't feel a thing.
And see it with the hulk only he doesn't calm down he keeps on going and going till the strain would kill him ofcourse but that limit never been reached yet.
But you got a point they say he has a ALMOST unlimited amount of rage so maybe there is a limit to it.
After feeling 300 punches Hulk and I will both be ko'd. If someones hitting me in my face I will get mad, but when I get mad enough to where I cant talk, think, act, or really do anything at all I think I've reached my limit.
Thats how some people end up in the nut house, they can no longer act on there own will because there brain can no longer take the emotions and react correctly.

Thats my point, the rage limit was reached when he became "MINDLESS" Hulk, and thats what I've been trying to say.
Thus Hulk does have a limit to his strength
