Superman vs. Hulk

The Hulk, is not evenly matched with Superman. Superman's limits, are still far above ANYTHING the Hulk has ever come close to doing. Superman isn't just a little faster, even now, he has moved planets with his bare hands. The most the Hulk ever did, was pick up a mountain range in secret wars. Last time i checked, when Superman shoved a planet larger than Earth around, he was lifting EXPONENTIALLY more than one mountain range.

Also, in Marvel vs DC, those fights were chosen by fans, and SCALED DOWN so that they would look close and even. The only actually even match there, was Batman and Captain America. Hulk Superman was a joke. That was a Hulk that was permanantly stuck at a lifting strength of 76 tons, because he was smart Hulk at the time. Smart Hulk doesn't get stronger when he gets madder, he turns back into Bruce Banner, and Bruce Banner just gets the Savage Hulk's mind. It was laughable so suggest Superman was that weak, because even at that time, he was lifting far more than 76 tons, with one hand, while fighting off the likes of Doomsday.

While we're on Doomsday, Doomsday is the amped up DC version of the Hulk. But Doomsday outclasses the Hulk. Doomsday flat out can not die. And he's on par with Superman strength wise. Doomsday would simply kill the Hulk on his opening attack and be done with it, long before he got mad enough to put up ANY kind of fight.

Also, other powers matter. Superman does not just stand there, and get punched in the face, while letting his opponents have every chance to beat him. He's only done that as a distraction to let other people flee, before putting up his fight. With the Hulk, he starts at such a low power level compared to Superman, and then takes a long time to wind up to a level where he'd be any match, a level he's never actually been shown to be. It's fan guessing on the Hulk's part he can grow that strong. NOTHING is limitless, especially human rage. There is a point where you can't be mad anymore. THe Hulk, as savage as he is, is actually HUMAN. He doesn't possess the ability to do what is completely impossible for any human being, no matter what Super powers they have

Hulk is obviously the strongest character in comics today. However, Superman is far too versatile to be beaten by Hulk.

Also, Professor Hulk had the strongest strength at a calmer state of mind. He's considered the weakest because he can't incease his strength as fast.

redwolf c'mon you talk about doomsday not being able to die,and then say humans cant get that angry,its the comics,yeesh nothing is impossible, hulk can get stronger than supes,but like alot of people say supes is to versitile to be beat by hulk it would take hulk too long to get that strong

If Superman just decides to be stupid and slug it out with the Hulk hand to hand, he'll lose.

If Superman plays it smart and uses all his powers to put down the Hulk before Hulk gets more angry, he'll win.
