Well, Superman wins by throwing him into space via BFR. I agree with that. But if Superman had to fight him in space, Hulk could fight back. I'm not sure why he would turn to Banner also if Superman just left him there. Hulk has been calm and can sleep without being turned into Banner. So I don't understand why he would revert, especially when it would probably kill him. I mean, the vacuum of space is cold, I would think Hulk would get very angry with that and probably frustrated with his inability to fly and move around if anything.
I mean if Superman were such a lil b1tch that he throws someone into space who can't fly just to win, then yeah he'd probably win every time against Hulk. But the Superman I know doesn't do that. Superman I know would man up and face Hulk down with his power and figure out a way to beat him.
Personally I think Professor Hulk not being able to breathe in space was cautious and incorrect thinking on his part. He probably surmised, scientifically speaking, that he was an aerobic creature and he needed oxygen. But really... all his power comes not from aerobic respiration but from drawing on the gamma plane. So, if you just require energy to power your cells, why wouldn't he just draw it from the gamma plane like he does his augmented strength? That's my explanation for it. Oxygen is only required for respiration, which is required for cells to make energy, but since Hulk has a vast wellspring of limitless energy he can draw upon, I don't see much of a point to breathing oxygen. It's probably just habit to him. Why would Professor Hulk be so dumb as to not think that during his fight with Gladiator? Two reasons, 1) he was thinkingconservatively and probably didn't want to test out a theory which could endanger him or 2) I'm just smarter than Professor Hulk.
