Hulk can adapt to everything. Current Hulk is a monster, he can breath in the space, underwater and so on....
I have yet to see Superman level with a pissed off HULK. Anyone who hopes to win against the Hulk in a strength match would be making a death wish.
Then you havn't read enough Superman comics. When the two Supermen fought in Infinite Crisis, every blow was so powerful it ripped apart the fabric of time and space, causing each one to relive each others lives and even had reality warping so badly they were shifting into different incarnations of Superman.

At some point in time if Marvel is being stupid be may even fly or run at light speed but that is not Marvel's style, his power is strength based and will only evolve from that. Obviously hulk cannot BREATH in space (as there is in fact nothing to inhale) but he can keep fighting for a while by holding his breath.
He is not Darwin or Lifegaurd but he has shown an impressive ability to adapt to certain extremes (see gland that lets him breath underwater) but only after an incredibly long period of time.
supes could take this just by flying into space and just letting hulk run out of air till he passes out and eventually reverts or dies
