Hulk gets a lot of trash because of threads like this. Not unwarranted, but still.
Anyways, looking at this, Supes clearly out powers the Hulk. Not only are his powers greater than the hulks, they are far more versatile and adaptable. However, one of the Hulk's greatest abilities is his regeneration and durability. Short of absolute zero freezing or melting every single molecule of the Hulk's body, Superman shouldn't really be putting him down all that easily. (I guess there are scans of people KOing the hulk with a punch or whatever, but that seems to go against his higher end durability showings).
If we throw in some CIS, it becomes even closer. Superman frequently holds back and isn't always flying around at light speed vibrating his molecules through oncoming attacks. Not that he can't, or wouldn't, just that he doesn't.
The whole idea of us debating "powersets" rather than "characters" seems a little relevant here, simply in the way that people invision this fight happening. Sure, Superman has the power to almost instantaneously destroy every atom in the Hulk's body, and it is a valid argument, its just not something that ever comes up in a story for any number of reasons. Honestly, in a CIS style fight, I can see this going a lot like the DOS fight against doomsday, if doomsday were much slower and got hit around a lot more.
The best solution to this fight that doesn't just boil down to "Supes>>>>>>>Hulk" was something Spetznaz said a while ago either on this or another hulk v superman thread. Basically, it was a strategy for putting down the Hulk with x ray vision and laser eyes to the medulla oblongata to both prevent him from being able to get angry and generally paralyze him. Even that seems overly bloodthirsty for Superman, and I can imagine him doing anything remotely fatal to Hulk if he knew that Banner was inside.
Superman still wins 10/10, there is no way in hell the Hulk would ever put him down just through punching (has anyone ever done that to supes.... lol, I guess DD in DOS...), but just some random thoughts I had on this one

Where did this come from? I'm not questioning it or anything. Actually, I think it'd be pretty nice to have a generally agreed upon speed for Superman on this forum. Just wondering though.
It was after Luthor got elected , supes was pissed off and flew all the way to (and clean through) a jovian moon in around a minute or five. A few forum members with more patience and better math skills then I crunched the numbers and came up with that result.

Saturn is roughly 900 million miles from Earth[give or take depending on where they are in orbit].... it took Superman under 4 minutes to make this trip.
The Sun is closer to 90 million from Earth... it takes light 8 minutes.
So Superman flew about 900 million miles, and light would only be traveling 45 million in the same time frame.

So quite a few times faster then light eh ?
Then another time is during the fight with Wonder Woman in Sacrifice, they fought, went up in space, to the sun, and fought and back, and fought...
All under two minutes.
And like before, it takes light 8 minutes to travel that distance, one way, they went both.
So a trip that would take light 16 minutes, only took them 2, while in combat.

hmm
Is that the time they recorded or that an outside narrator recorded?
