Well, I've found that online DVD rentals are far superior to store-rented DVDs. Firstly because the DVDs themselves are much better looked after. About every second DVD I got from the video store was scratched to the bejeebus and wouldn't play all the way through which, needless to say, pissed me off.
Also, it's just so much easier to line up a whole bunch of DVDs on your queue and just let 'em come as they do... rather than going into the store every week and searching through the shelves.
And it works out much cheaper online as well. I only used to watch 2 or 3 DVDs a week, now I get through 5 to 8.

I dont really care about new releases, most mainstream ones are crap anyway, and you can get the more obscure new releases as not many people rent them, basically its all about the variety of films that online services offer. And it can work out at less than 50p per rental.

Whats wrong with wanting to watch new releases again?I watch alot of old movies but I like watching the new stuff because most of its stuff I havent seen and want to see.
