I have to agree on this one, even though I like gill better. Orochi in his avata form is enough to kill gill, let alone his true form.

That plot device only applies to the likes of SNK, not that they're weak or anything. I don't think that it would apply to some one who slags and eats planets, such as Pyron. If he can't beat Pyron I doubt he'll take Demetri after he absorbs Pyron. If he can't beat those 2 he has no chance against Donovan and Jedah. I really don't see Orochi even beating Gill.

This I will never agree with... Gill gets his ass turned into swiss cheese by Orochi... Now there was a debate involving orochi and Jedah. I beleive the general consencuss was that it was a Draw barring Jedah's ability to store Orochi in a false dimension. as for Pyron, well we simply do not know how far Orochi's imortality will save him, Pyron's pretty uber. but Donovan and post Pyron absorbtion Demtri are still fairly physical beings capable of sustaining injury, I don't think that they would win in a direct fight with Orochi.

Gill dies a 1000 deaths horribly, his ressurection is too limited to challenge a true god with considerably higher power levels.

That's a bit of an exaggeration, God or true god are mere titles. They have no bearing to power, Orochi using chris as an avatar would win by a moderate margin against gill. Comparing orochi to the likes of jedah and pyron is too far. What feats does he have to even compare, hell the weakest vampire savior cast can defeat him.

Actually, from my point of view, what you just said is an extreme exageration... you just claimed that people like Felicia, Riuko, sasquatch and victor can beat Orochi... No frigging way in hell...

Firstly, there already was a debate bitween Jedah and Orochi, it was considered a M.A.D Draw or Jedah wins via trapping Orochi in an alternate dimension, or which we have already seen Orochi breaking through dimensional boundries through seals 9Although this takes alot of time)

Pyron may simply devour the planet, but against the likes of a real immortal (And yes I know this is a title, but with those titles comes a certain expectation of power, hence their use in describing the character) what makes you think that doing a DBZ attack on a planet will kill him? hell man, even the forces he was vulnerable against couldn't kill him entirely, just seal him away.

Actually, that brings me to an interesting point. Mukai called Orochi "Beloved of Gaia" and information seems to indicate that Orochi is tied to the earth as a guardian spirit. That it's grudge with humanity is related to our destruction of the planet is well known. the reason behind this ramble is...., could destroying the planet kill Orochi? If orochi's link to this world is the planet itself, wouldn't smashing it banish the orochi forever? Hence, Pyron could beat Orochi. But I don't think the rest of the Darkstalkers cast could do much to Orochi. Excepting Jedah of course.

Orochi has the potential to end humanity in one swoop without damaging the planet like Pyron would (This suggests to me that Orochi may have a certain control over the forces of life and death, or a superior control over his powers in a way that he doesnt damage the planet when applying them.

As for other abilities besides his near invincibility and omnipotency, check all the characters with Orochi blood in their veins... Orochi can grant power and abilities to anyone, beyond their normal capabilities. Rugal's a good example, as is Iori, Yamakazi, Leona...

Yes, endings all over 97 stae as much... Orochi is considered godlike both in essence and in execution. but you may have a point here, maybe his power is limited when using an Avatar?

Avatar orochi is definetly restricted, but, I doubt the real orchi is omnipotent. Because omnipotent means you can do anthing, so, how did he manage to lose to a few humans?!
