Oh, well that wasn't PIS. They thought he had information that they wanted, the defences of the Gardens etc, which Seifer didn't know because he never actually became a real SEED.

Ah, I see. Still, wasn't Squall like a chosen one or something? Would be wise to kill him immediately and worry about the Gardens later.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it was just 'SEED'll kill you.' Wiki says the prophecy was a 'Legendary SEED.' Squall himself wasn't mentioned.

Meh, whatever. Still doesn't mean CIS can't be applied to her so I don't mind either way. 😛

Massive jumps where again? Durability I'll grant you but the rest I'm not seeing. Kindly point out Link's power.
Durability, strength, (No Goron power bracelet and he's moving hundred ton blocks?) ect. TP and WW basicly go out of their way to tell us a lot of Link's various powarz comes from the ToC. Like part of his protection.

Videos good sir, videos. Need to know context about said powers before I make a decision.

Negative. What you fail to understand is for lightning to not move at lightning speed requires Ganon to magicly restrict it. That is not the simplest answer and requires Ganondorf to sabotage himself, something he's never done. That is a bad assumption which you cannot back up with any facts at all.

No, the more complex thing, like I pointed out and you ignored, is to assume it's lightning at all. If we claim it's lightning, we have to assume it's a ball shape for gameplay reasons, we have to assume that it either A.) moves full speed and time slows down or B.) Ganon slows it. None of those assumptions have any basis in the game it's self. They only come when you force the attack to be considered full speed lighting.

It's far more simple to say "It's a magic ball that crackles to add effect."

There is NO assumptions that need to be made there at all. That's exactly what we see on the screen. Thus, it's the simpler explanation unless you can prove that it is impossible that it's just a magic ball with crackle effects. Now I'll ask again. Can you do that or not?

As long as it's possible it is the simpler explanation and will ALWAYS be the more logical thanks to our good friend Occam's Razor.

Well that's deliciously vague. We know the ToC gives him power but we don't know in what way.

1. This is not Ganon's first rodeo with someone blonde and a desire to dress in green. Last person he fought like that would have been perfectly capable of taking that toss. Why not simply choke him?

As adults, though. OoT was the first time Ganondorf met any Link, and he casually crushed young Link there. It was adult Link that had the greater abilities and was a legitimate threat to Ganondorf. I actually doubt young Link would have survived that toss, and toon Link is even younger. I think Wind Waker is the first time Ganondorf was beaten by a kid under 10. Before that, Ganondorf only tangled with adults, or at least post-puberty Links.

And the background states that after Ganondorf broke his seal and escaped, no hero came to stop him, which was why the gods flooded the world. And then on several islands people started dressing like Link and trying to be heroes. It's not unreasonable that Ganondorf concluded that the hero was gone and toon Link was a copycat. Which is technically true, as toon Link was stated to be unrelated to the Hero of Time in any way nor did he have a natural link to the Triforce of Courage.

Ganondorf has never choked anyone to kill them, dunno why he would now.

2. Said people that he has encountered that were blonde and dressed in green did in fact have the triforce of courage. Why let him out of your sight on the off chance that he may find it while at the same time growing strong enough to kill you?

Ganondorf can tell when a piece of the Triforce is nearby. Actually, the parts tend to resonate when they're close to each other. He was able to tell that Tetra had the Triforce of Wisdom once he got close. And, assuming he knew that the Triforce of Courage was broken, he would know that Link does not have it.

3. Look at how logical it would have been to keep him. Said blonde boy who wears green may prove useful in finding pieces of the ToC. Slim chance but we know people like that tend to have a connection to it. If you're not willing to kill your enemy with your own hands, you keep them as close as possible and as weak as possible. You do not give them a chance to become a threat.

Eh, to get the Triforce pieces Link needed to find the charts (in mini- dungeons) that gave directions to them, then pay Tingle to decipher the charts so he could read them, and then pull them from the bottom of the ocean with a crane.

Ganondorf, on the other hand, has access to undersea Hyrule, where he and his minions can search.

Young kids become adults eventually. And actually the 4-Swords games come into play again. Not that I know where it goes but GK seems to put it first so I'll stick with that theory so long as it supports my stand.

Then why not have his Owl go nom nom?

He did choke Tetra until his triforce started glowing.

Link does not have it at the moment. Simply make sure he can never get it by killing him now, while you can see him die.

Seems like Ganondorf could do that too.

Thank you good sir. ^_^

I forget why Ganondorf is relevant to Link vs. Sonic, so gonna concede that for now.

A ridiculous number for god strength throwing a house sized rock into space? sneer

Well take Links GG rock throwing feat and multiply it be about a million. That comes to about very strong status.

"Lightspeed attack" requires rings. Link isn't going to stand in a line of rings and let Sonic use it. It's also debatable whether it's lightspeed and I don't think non super sonic can reach light speed, so on and so forth.

Then he takes a couple seconds to go super, and blitzes him. 😄

Simple answer: Lightning = Lightning.

Dead Man's Volley (a magic attack charged with electricity, light, and is thrown)= lightning? lol... no 😛

yay... I didn't wanna get into the CIS/PIS argument... Gannon isn't immune to it though... and Sonic still pwns Link 😄

On another note... I got bored and read the entire thread earlier. This lightning argument has been going on for almost a year now... I doubt it'll stop anytime soon. I'm thinking about remaking this thread with a twist out of boredom. Link gets lightning reaction... possibly even composite, and Sonic's comics are cannon. It'll give me a reason to re-read the series, and look for good feats. What say you guys?

😑 Th-the whole 15 pages? You must have been pretty bored...

Hmmm... I haven't read a whole lot of the comics, so I likely wouldn't be much help. I'd check it out though.

yeah... work sucks 🙁

And magic = magic.

Comic Sonic is on a whole other level ._.
