I think the US would be the last supreme superpower but i think China after a century or so will become one. IN 2050 china is projected to have a larger economy.
IMO if resources get scarce we would eventually destroy ourselves and nature would help to. However the world will end for sure in next billions or so years unless we move to another solar system.

Look Deano, I agree that life as we know it has been fed to us...by political powers. Huge organizations that operate above/outside the law. But many of the theories you post aren't possible.
